Peaceful, quiet setting. Lots of comfort furniture and warming devices. Host is very accommodating and doesn't break the privacy factor. I'd definitely go back.

Kings Lodge was the highlight of our road trip holiday Amazing food, amazing location and best staff ever. We felt like family and were sad to leave. will be back soonest

Amazing location central to Hogsback attractions, indoor fireplace with plenty wood supplied, full kitchen, large space, beautiful gardens / property. Beds were comfortable, and the electric blankets were a massive plus for the chilly mornings and evenings. Host was on top of things, checking in and ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a central location in Hogsback thats practical, comfortable and good value for money.

Location is (I'm 99% sure) the best in Hogsback. The view is breathtaking and the cottage is perfectly situated to see all the landmarks of Hogsback. The cottage is unpretentious, but comfortable. It is well equipped and had whatever we needed. The manager Annari is amazing, she is welcoming and made us feel right at home like old friends. She was very helpful with everything happening in town with recommendations on where to eat, where to go and not to go etc.

The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, the facilities were clean and as advertised. I had a problem with my hot water, and someone came and helped me immediately.

Waking up to the smell of Jasmine and listening to bird song was such a treat. Dave & Alba were super friendly and helpful Hosts. The cottage was perfect. Had everything we needed. Everything was spotless and the beds are so comfortable. The Gardens are spectacular and magical, we didnt want to leave. The Kitchen was fully kitted and everything in the cottage is excellent quality. The Decor is classy and we felt right at home. We couldnt have asked for anything better. Peartree Cottage is the BEST!! We will be back again 100%

Location is close to the shops and restaurants. The cottage is in a quiet street.

The magical setting, stunning cottage, ancient looking trees, the mossy fairy gardens, refreshing eco swimming pool, flowers of all colours, enough area to do a good exercise walk each morning and evening, interesting monkeys doing their own thing, no wifi which is awesome and cozy fire places, a few to choose from.

Beautiful location on a large property surrounded by trees. The house is well-sized, and the bed has electric blankets that were very helpful at night. The kitchen had everything I needed, from plates and bowls to washing up liquid. It was a lovely stay. The shower had good water pressure.
