A lovely small hotel in a fantastic location, close to the center of Bruges. Veronique was friendly and super-informative on check-in. The room was stylish, spotless, with every amenity. Bedding was of a high quality and the bed so comfortable. Great shower and bathroom too. We slept so well as the room was dark and quiet. Breakfast was ample and delicious but the best thing about this hotel was the owner/manager who really cares about her guests and their comfort. Highly recommended.

Albion Hotel, a family-run hotel in the centre of Ieper, is 350 metres from the Menin Gate. It features free high-speed WiFi, an intimate bar and packed lunch services. I feel I stumbled onto a precious gem! We had a last minute detour to Ypres and I booked the Albion because of its proximity to the Menin gate. I can’t say enough about the hospitality of this family run hotel. When I think of our short stay in Ypres I may remember chatting with Daphne at the Albion desk and bar as much as our visit to the Flanders Museum just around the corner! Besides the kindness of the owners, our room was modern but with architectural features that honored the past. The high tech skylight looked up on the steeple of the nearby church. The bar was comfortable with great local beers. And be sure to include breakfast! A spread worthy of the cost. Thank you Daphne and the entire family for your hospitality!

Ariane este un hotel administrat de o familie, situat la 7 minute de mers pe jos de centrul istoric al localității Ypres, unde se găsesc Poarta Menin și muzeul In Flanders Fields. The hotel is well situated, has friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. The terrace is nice and spacious, the rooms are big enough with good beds, enough pillows and a large bathroom. Well thought about are the motion detection small lights under the bed and near the toilet so you dont have to light up the whole room when you go to the toilet at night.
