The Fairmont Chateau Hotel in Lake Louise is a classic, iconic hotel, located in one of the best spots in the Rockies. It was like a fairy tale - the hotel was covered in snow, the lake was frozen and also snow covered. It was great to walk on the frozen lake. This is a fantastic hotel. staff were very professional, friendly and ever so helpful. We dined in the Alpine Social which was really good 'pub style' food. We also dined in the Lakeview restaurant, and our request to sit by the window, if possible, ended up with us sitting at the iconic window overlooking the lake. What a treat, Overall this was a fantastic experience and I hope that somehow, we will find the way to return at some future date.

The rooms were modern and fresh. The bar & foid area was excellent. The hot spa was fabulous after a long day skiing and plenty of room.
