We spend 4 nights here and I can’t recommend it enough: - quiet, chill, relaxing vibe, you have a corner of paradise nearly to yourself - clean, the team takes care of the place and makes it very comfortable (not easy when sand easily gets everywhere) - delicious food for very reasonable prices and plenty of options (we also saw other, much higher prices in the area and thought Carey Beach priced food and drinks in such a way that it doesn’t break the bank) - very polite and attentive staff, the team is as present as you want them to be, very helpful, always with a smile - nice beach, water was great to take a swim, we could watch pelicans hunt for fish - the activities offered were great: we went on a snorkel trip and had massages at the beach. All in all: fantastic! Relaxing! Would highly recommend!

Hotel Calamari Baru has a private beach area, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Playa Blanca. Built in 2019, the property is within a few steps of Playa Blanca. Great little section of beach away from the main crowded area. Restaurant is tasty and fairly priced. Rooms very spacious.

Hotel Las Islas has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and private beach area in Baru. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Fantastic beach resort. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and dinners were nice. The bar has great vistas and on the roof there is a telescope so I got to see Saturn and its rings. Rooms have those Japanese automatic toilets which I had never experienced before.

Located in front of Barbacoa Beach this eco-lodge offers rooms with garden views and a private beach, within a 10-minute drive from Playa Blanca Beach. Olga and the whole staff are so sweet, I really could feel at home there after such long flight. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from all the noise in Cartagena, and you feel immediately embraced and relaxed when you walk in

Situated in Playa Blanca, Mar Barú Beach House offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Playa Blanca and features various facilities, such as a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. I loved everything about this hotel. The service was outstanding, the staff was always kind and attentive, and the room was spotless and beautifully designed. The atmosphere felt luxurious yet warm, and every detail made the stay special. The location was perfect, the food was amazing, and overall it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Located in Playa Blanca, Renacer ancestral Barú offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Playa Blanca and provides various facilities, such as a private beach area and a bar. Renacer Hotel is the perfect place for a relaxing escape. Located right on the beach, it’s close to restaurants and little shops. The rooms are nice and there is good quality wifi. Juan is also an excellent host, always on hand to help or answer questions. Would recommend.

Staðsett á Playa Blanca og innifelur: Solarium Beach Club er staðsett í nokkurra skrefa fjarlægð frá Playa Blanca og býður upp á alhliða móttökuþjónustu, ofnæmisprófuð herbergi, verönd, ókeypis WiFi... I loved the whole experience. The attention from the owners and staff was outstanding. The rooms, the food, especially the food it was always served hot and delicious, they're lemonade was always on point cold and refreshing the valet there he was so attentive and always aware of what was needed. Solarium Beach Club is all operated by solar energy that was awesome. If you're interested in a camping experience on the beach, this is the place. We went as a couple, but it is very family oriented. My husband and I are planning to return next year. All we need to remember is to bring snacks in a small cooler. This was truly a camping on the beach experience. Thank you, Solarium Beach, for an awesome stay😍
