Casa Pandora Hostel Women Only is situated in San José, within 7.5 km of Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica and 10 km of Parque Diversiones. What a great place! Electronic key entry worked perfectly. Clean and tidy. The private room had a comfortable bed. There are roll down blinds for privacy and to keep the sun out. The fan provides good air movement. The other travelers I spoke with were interesting. Independent traveling women with ages ranging from 20 to 50s. It was fun to share stories.

Frtiz and his wife are very friendly and gave us local recommendation. They had welcome drinks a s breakfast was delicious. The overall setting of the rooms were great. AC worked fine which is super important in humid climate. The rooms had distinct fragrance of euclyptus. I thought that was a good touch. Hot water also worked fine. Highly recommend.

The accommodation was absolutely perfect – a beautiful cabin with a jacuzzi and an amazing view. We felt great there, with a cozy atmosphere thanks to the fireplace. A very beautiful place away from Costa Rica’s tourist hustle and bustle.

El Toucanet Lodge & Restaurante er staðsett í 47 km fjarlægð frá Manuel Antonio-þjóðgarðinum og býður upp á gistirými, veitingastað, garð, verönd og bar. El Toucanet is a delightful small hotel in the mountains with rustic cottages and a spacious, beautiful restaurant overlooking a garden. Moises, at the desk, was a gracious and caring host, as was the kitchen staff. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Navigation is a must, as the hotel is about 30 minutes from the Pan American Hwy (Hwy 2) - absolutely worth the effort to get there. The sunny morning at breakfast with windows open and many species of hummingbirds feeding was most memorable.
