The entire vibe of Kibayo is chill and positive. The staff is the best! The breakfasts are the best we’ve had in the DR and rate at the top for anyplace we’ve stayed around the world. In the evening, we laid back on beanbags and took in the chill sounds spun by the owner. There was even live music one night. Take the kayak out on the canal that runs through the property. Really fun! We highly recommend Kibayo and plan to return next year.

Sosua Inn Hotel er staðsett í Sosúa, 300 metra frá Alicia-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, heilsuræktarstöð og garði. Great owner and staff. Very friendly and kind. The staff always greets you with a smile. I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Gististaðurinn er staðsettur í Cabarete í Puerto Plata-héraðinu, í 300 metra fjarlægð frá Encuentro-ströndinni. The bungalows were perfect for me. Other people might not like it that is a bit far from the lobby and restaurant, but being by the beach is amazing. Service was amazing, specially Angie at the reception.

Casa Azul - Apartment státar af útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, í um 2,8 km fjarlægð frá Long Beach. Þetta gistihús býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með verönd. Very nice owner.Huge terrace on the roof with the possibility of sunbathing or a very pleasant evening sitting. You can even dance on it.

Garden By The Sea er staðsett í 100 metra fjarlægð frá einkaströnd og býður upp á útisundlaug, snarlbar og gróskumikla garða með suðrænum trjám og blómum. Miðbær Sosúa er í 3 mínútna akstursfjarlægð. The hotel itself is not very big, so it felt like I was visiting a friend in the suburbs: it’s very quiet and you literally live in the garden, full of trees, flowers and birds. I was there in off season, so I was the only guest and I had the pool to my own. The room was super cozy and comfortable, I had everything I needed. I liked Nikki’s attention to details everywhere around the property: starting with styling of the room and ending with beach stuff available for you (like umbrellas, beach fridge, etc). Breakfasts were simple but very delicious. There’s a kitchen outdoors with BBQ facilities. The whole property is behind the barrier and the territory felt very safe, there are also several parking spots at the property. Each room has its own internet router, and the quality was pretty good. At first I couldn’t find a way to the beach, so ask for directions in advance, but when I finally got there, I could see why people were saying about semi-private beach in reviews: not very big, quite clean, no restaurants or sunbeds (although might be because I was in off season there). Bella-the-dog was accompanying me to the beach and guarding me there all the time :) there are also three very cuddly kitties on the territory :) Overall I liked the place very much, Nikki is super nice and helpful, it felt like home. I will definitely recommend this place and stay there again if I’m back to the country.

El Maginifico er fallegt íbúðahótel við ströndina í Cabarete, í aðeins 8 km fjarlægð frá Encuentro-ströndinni. Boðið er upp á ókeypis WiFi, ókeypis bílastæði og heitan pott. - The staff is very friendly and helpful. - The property is superclean and beautifully maintained. We loved the pool and hot tub. - The private beach access is very peaceful, even though you cannot swim right there because of the current. - The apartment had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our stay. - The supermarket is just 2 minutes away on foot, the walk to Cabarete Beach is around 5-7 minutes, there you find loads of restaurants and bars, and you can swim there.
