Perfect night stop for our road trip. The hotel is brand new. The team was super nice, the room very nice design modern yet sober. Great matres, pillows, and linens. We will come back every time.

Located in front of Place de Jaude and 500 metres from the cathedral, this 24-hour reception hotel offers a bar, a terrace and air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. Very nice room. Staff were very helpful and kind. Very comfortable. Parking good. Good location. For the sights and restaurants.

This 19th-century hotel is located in the centre of beautiful Mont Dore, and makes a wonderful base for exploring the Massif du Sancy. Beautiful, grand old hotel in the heart of Mont-Dore, perfectly located for walking around downtown. The breakfast was outstanding—eggs, pastries, hot oats, and more (French eggs really are superior!). Our room was lovely, with a full bed and a twin, ideal since I tend to twitch at night. Just note there’s no lift/elevator, which may matter for some travelers.

The auberge provides everything you need when travelling and the rooms etc have been recently constructed to a very good standard. Breakfast was not provided but croissants etc were obtained from a nearby patisserie to accompany coffee provided in the restaurant adjoining the auberge. Saint Angel was good for an evening stroll.

A really excellent little room, comfortable and clean with lovely attention to detail. The location is perfect, right in the old town. Annick was extremely welcoming and looked after us very well. The breakfast, partly homemade, was a lovely feature. It also made a big difference to have a private off-road car parking space. All in all, highly recommended.
