Opened in 2012, Lifestyle Hotel Mátra features lavish rooms with free Wi-Fi, 2 indoor pools and a spa area of 1200 square metres on 2 floors. We loved everything. The facilities and services are excellent. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. The game rooms provided entertainment to kids between 5 and 16 years old. The restaurant is great and absolutely willing to accommodate different requests.

The apartment was big and had steps up to the castle wall in back where you could see over the whole city. The staff was super helpful and friendly with good English skills. Amazing value and included a nice breakfast. And they stored our luggage while we wondered around the town.

The apartment is located in the historic center of Eger. What we liked about the apartments and the city: 1. The owner of the apartments was very attentive and quickly answered all our questions related to staying in the apartments. 2. Excellent bathroom, well equipped kitchen and sharp knives. 3. Comfortable double bed. 4. Convenient parking for car in the enclosed courtyard. 5. The powerful defensive castle or fortress of Eger. We recommend visiting both the castle itself and its museums. 6. A walk through the historic center. 7. Beautiful park within a five-minute walk from our house.

Great location literally about five minutes (hilly) walk to the entrance of Eger Castle. Fabulous vista from the balcony and living area over Eger, Eger Castle and the hills in the distance delivering beautiful sunsets The A/C was spot on late afternoon after returning from a day out, this also facilitated excellent sleep in the most comfortable beds. It is rare that I/we sleep well when travelling, but honestly could not fault the quality of beds. Parking was perfect directly in front of the apartment, with room for three cars - if parked correctly. Good communication from the owner in regard to access codes for the keys once inside When we next return to Eger, this would be our choice to stay not just for the comfort, but also ease of access to the nice Michelin * restaurant
