The hosts Dong and Seska were so friendly and helpful which made it my stay a memorable one. There is a bar / restaurant across the road which does great food and the bar has live music on a Saturday night which is also very good. I rented a motorbike which was very handy from the accommodation which was convenient and a good price too and they also provide a good laundry service. The upstairs area at the front was good for chilling out with a nice view of the lake. I would definitely recommend and would stay again. Try the Tuak when you're there - it's the local palm wine.

Perfect location on lake front with own jetty stop for ferry and easy access to rest of Tuk Tuk . Lovely breakfast overlooking lake and enjoyed our restaurant meal with same view. All staff exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful. Everywhere in hotel ( inside and pool area/ gardens well looked after.. Melanie was a delightful host and clearly cares about her hotel and staff. We had a full day sightseeing with Mike ( booked through the hotel). Mike was born locally and as such gave us a great personalised tour which was good value for money.

Situated in Tuk Tuk in the Sumatra region, Bloom Home Stay has a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. All units in the homestay are fitted with a kettle. The Homestay was like a hotel. My friend and I were very comfortable at Mr Bloom’s place. The place was very clean and modern. Mr Bloom, his friends and family were very welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Bun, the manager is simply fantastic. He made my stay special. The room was huge, clean and had everything I needed. The balcony looking over the street was also huge. The restaurant was awesome and Bun made THE best gado-gado in the world. As a bonus my bicycle was also allowed to sleep upstairs.

The location is fantastic, the host is fabulous! direct access to the lake for swimming. 2 bedrooms, atlhough in the description it looks that there is only one, but there are 2. Do not hesitate to book! The house is very clean also. We had a great time here!

Ruma Kaca Simanindo Bed Breakfast er nýuppgert gistiheimili sem er staðsett í Ambarita, 2,3 km frá Batu Hoda-ströndinni og státar af einkastrandsvæði og útsýni yfir vatnið. We stayed for 2 nights at Ruma Kaca, Tiolina’s beautiful “house of glass” in Simanindo, and it was truly special. The view over Lake Toba, the lush garden full of flowers and plants, and even the small Batak culture museum make this place unforgettable. Tiolina is an exceptional host, incredibly kind and helpful. She arranged a driver to show us around the island and gave great advice for taking the ferry. The food was delicious, and nothing was ever too much to ask. The location is outstanding, and if you get the chance, ask her to sing! Her traditional Batak songs accompanied by her slightly out-of-tune piano only add to the charm of this magical place.
