This is a very lovely stay, Santosh, the owner is superkind! It feels really homey there. The room was spacious and everything was very clean. There is a small desk, enough place to put your belongings. The wifi works very well, the bathroom is nice. There is a roof where you can have breakfast and meditate/chill. The area is much more quiet than the center of Bodhgaya, but still not far, easy to get a tuktuk to go around. If I had any questions or requests, Santosh helped immediately. Thanks a lot!

This is my second visit to Bodh Gaya, and my second time staying at Rajhat Maranao. Each time I enjoyed my stay here so much, and will definitely choose this hotel next time as well. The accommodation is very clean with all necessary amenities, it is just a very short walk from Mahabodhi temple and other sights of interest, and the food they serve is too delicious. But most of all, I really appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff members, especially the hotel manager and his wife. They truly made my trip to Bodh Gaya even more memorable. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality!

A true home away from home in Bodhgaya 🩷 Bodhgaya is a magical place, but the bustling center can feel overwhelming with its noise and pollution. Choosing to stay at Tara Guest House turned out to be the best decision of my trip! I originally booked somewhere closer to the main temple, but arrived a few days early and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Tara is a warm family-run business that does incredible work supporting the local community through their school project (definitely worth checking out). By staying here, you're not just getting a wonderful place to rest - you are directly helping educate around 900 children. The location, just outside the noisy and polluted center, was a lifesaver. Waking up to birdsong and surrounded by greenery felt like pure bliss. Punam prepares the most delicious home-cooked meals- her Palak Paneer is hands-down the best I've ever had in India (and I take my Palak Paneer very seriously!). The family was incredibly kind and welcoming, even nursing me back to health with care and herbal remedies when I suffered from food poisoning after a street food experiment. The room was clean and comfortable, with firm, supportive bed (a rare treat in India!), fresh sheets, and towels. There is also a peaceful rooftop space perfect for yoga or meditation, with cushions you can borrow. I can't wait to return - Tara Guest House comes with my highest recommendation!

Super Townhouse Oak AIIMS Walmi Govindpur is a 4-star property set in Patna. Excellent stay with very clean rooms and polite staff. Overall, a very comfortable experience.

Set in Bodh Gaya and only 500 metres from Mahabodhi Temple, Shahi House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. I liked the Hospitality and Owners kind behaviour. He was a call away for any help. I will definitely mark this house for my future journeys to BodhGaya. Shahi House is at prime location closer to Mahabodhi Temple and the rates are very low(budget friendly). Now they are renovating the floors, in near future, I hope I will see its new version. I stayed there for 2 Nights and enjoyed travelling many places from there. They made me feel like member of their own family. I loved the gesture. I could have given 100/10(but that is technically incorrect).
