This was my first time staying place in India as solo female traveler. The outside of this guest house is low income area with full of garbage and recycling center is nearby. But only 5 min to walk to Mahabodhi temple. Always some tuk tuk taxi passing by. The owner was very kind and nice person which made my stay great with his worker. It was spark clean and good facilities. Will stay again.

It's a 30 min walk from the Temple, but absolutely not a problem - first of all, it's very quiet here, and lots of tuktuks around if you don't want to walk. A clean room, hot water. The owners are super friendly, they changed my idea of Bodhgaya, without their smiles it would be just a busy and not very welcoming town.

Located 1.2 km from Mahabodhi Temple, Regency Villa, 500 meters from Mahabodhi Temple offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a terrace. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Regency. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff is helpful and always ready to assist. The location is perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bodhgaya! Or Gaya

Set in Bodh Gaya and only 500 metres from Mahabodhi Temple, Shahi House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The booking did not include breakfast but the family toked their time and cooked for us since we were hungry and the food we order was going to take very long, the food was delicious and made with care and kindness. The owner waiter for our arrival awake past midnight and welcome us with a friendly smile and patience. I will happily book again this place any time I go back to Bodhgaya, the super convenient location at a walking distance from Bodhi Tree and the exceptional hospitality and care that made our stay truly enjoyable and memorable makes this decision easy to make
