Located in Madaba and with the Greek Orthodox Basilica of Saint George reachable within 500 metres, Black Iris Hotel provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi... The room is big and very clean, bed big and comfortable and very friendly staff, specially Diane at the reception. Always with a very sweet and friendly smile and very helpful, giving tips and suggestions of what can we visit and do during our stay. The breakfast is good and the hotel is centrally located.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Tell Madaba during our first visit to Jordan, a trip we made to explore some of the country’s holy and historic places. From the moment we arrived, Edward and Munira welcomed us with such warmth and sincerity that we immediately felt at home. They were incredibly attentive - more like family members than hosts - and they consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, supported, and able to enjoy our visit to the fullest. Every detail of our stay was thoughtfully taken care of, and their readiness to help with anything we needed truly stood out. Whether it was guiding us with local tips, checking in to make sure we had everything we required, or simply sharing kind conversations, they made our time in Jordan feel personal, meaningful, and safe. Their dedication and kindness elevated our entire experience and turned a regular trip into a memorable and heartwarming journey. As we leave, we do so with the comforting feeling that we now have a home in Jordan - somewhere we can return to without hesitation and somewhere we know our friends and family would also be welcomed with the same warmth. We will definitely visit again in the future, and we will highly and gladly recommend Tell Madaba to anyone we know planning to travel to Jordan. The Mosaic City Hotel is a small and friendly hotel in the heart of Madaba, within easy walking distance of the Church of St George and the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was good, the staff was friendly. It is close to the places of interest. It also has a free parking lot.

Omar was very kind and friendly, made us feel at home there. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was great as well. Good breakfast.

The host was very nice! He has parking out front with a security camera. There was also a washer which was a nice surprise! Location was great and within 10-15 minute walk of many restaurants.

This was an excellent stay for us and I wish we could stay longer. The beds and room was comfortable the ac worked well, the kitchen was fully stocked and there was a washing machine and drying rack. In addition there was tea and coffee. The location was perfect to walk anywhere. The owners were friendly and helpful and made us feel very comfortable. This is a full mini apartment! The kitchen area was fully stocked and there was all the necessary amenities including toilet paper, shampoo, soap, towels, etc.

The host communicated with us well the whole time and was very accommodating while we arrived in the middle of the night. The apartment was as described, clean and we had everything we needed.
