This was the best hotel experience of our 18 day trip to Japan. It’s located steps from the train station and has lots of good options for food nearby. Immediately we were greeted by a very friendly staff. You can see the hotel has put a lot of thought into the small details and it really makes a difference. The bed was comfortable, the shower and bathroom were lovely, the breakfast was amazing (including fresh squeezed orange juice and croissants and yogurt). I wish I could have stayed in the hotel with each place I travelled to in Japan and would go back to Fukuyama just to stay here.

We hope your stay in Miyajima will be full of unforgettable memories and wonderful encounters. The guesthouse was very clean, spacious and offered an included light evening meal and breakfast. The kitchen was spotless and every detail taken care of. The property was in a good location and the staff were friendly and helpful. Costs were very reasonable for what was offered and I recommend the guesthouse and would stay there again.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. The hotel offers public and private hot baths and a free shuttle to/from Miyajima Ferry Terminal. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. We had the special guest room - wonderful view on the sea, the Tori and the mountains, lot of natural light & space, a bathtub in the room to take a hot bath (in addition to the private 30mn per room at the outdoor bath). Japanese dîner was delicious, the staff very professionnal, attentionate and caring all along our stay. The hôtel made sure to look for our luggages - either to collect them for us at the ferry pier when we arrived and to bring them back at the pier when taking our ferry to leave the Island - allowing us not to have to carry them and enjoy the walk and our day in the Island What a beautiful moment !
