This place was an experience, a high class adult amusement park: amazing restaurants, very comfortable, shopping and convenience stores, incredibly helpful and kind staff, super clean rooms. Highly recommended! Amazing view and the shuttle was so convenient.

The location had a lot of beautiful spots around it and sitting down with Take-San in the evening while trying out all types of Amami Shochu was a lot of fun.

Very peaceful surroundings with a foot bath right out side our room. A very clean, spacious and traditional Japanese style room. The futons were nice and thick, making for a very comfortable sleep. Our host was very friendly and gave us a great recommendation for dinner.

Loved this beautiful property - so unusual and stunning, with great views of Sakurajima. The rooms are super comfortable and cosy, and the shower is nice and hot with good water pressure. The host was very kind and attentive and made me feel at home. There was a little packed breakfast including fresh GF muffins waiting for me in the morning which I took on my adventures up Sakurajima. The location is on a beach a little further out of the town area, but there are buses and it’s an easy walk too if you want or need to get home later than the bus timetable. I walked both nights I stayed and it was a lovely end to the evening (and helps with digestion!). There is a Joyful, 7/11, and a Starbucks that open until night time or early hours just over the road if you need something local to ride you over. Loved my stay here and would return.

Located in Amami, 800 metres from Higashi Beach, みーまん奄美 provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a bar. The owners were so friendly, they helped us with recommendations, getting to know the area and even organised a ride to a local restaurant for us to try out. They went above and beyond, also Miman itself is a beautiful place, the rooms were clean and the bathroom was large with 2 showers. There was even a shared lounge area with manga and access to cooking facilities. Overall an amazing place, highly recommend!

Situated in Yakushima and only 700 metres from Isso Beach, 屋久杉楼 七福 features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Wonderful place. Great location, Beautiful landscape from the window In a small village on the north shore of the island. The highlight is the owner Kimika is one of the nicest people I met in Japan. She is very friendly and helpful. She is a calligraphy artist and she gave us a demo. It was fascinating. We had a wonderful time over there thanks to her friendly and generous personality. I highly recommend staying in the special place. It made my experience in Yakushima.
