But what truly set this place apart was the heartfelt hospitality of the hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. They ensured we had all the information regarding transportation. Their generosity extended to offering us rides, making our stay incredibly convenient.

My sister and I went to Myoko Kogen for a ski week. We stayed at this Pension. Papa was so generous to pick us up at the train station and return us at the end of our trip. He was also really good about helping us to the 2 neighboring ski resorts. I will say if you want to ski Seki or resorts outside of town, he unfortunately doesn't have time. The bus system wasn't working either. The breakfast was standard, good for the value and prompt. The location was walking distance to places to eat and a bus stop. The hosts were extremely kind.

Set in Myoko, 29 km from Honmachi Machiyakan, ペンションハートウォーマー has ski-to-door access, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. It is located 34 km from Canora Hall and offers full-day security. Great facilities, everything brand new and very clean. So good having a washing machine too. Staff were very helpful.

Conveniently situated in the Akakura Onsen district of Myoko, Adamo Akakura is situated 36 km from Nagano Station, 44 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park and 46 km from Suzaka City Zoo. It's brand new and the location is great, the staff are amazing and the quilts were the best ever. Big thanks the Grace, Oscar, Noah, Charlie, Lucy and the rest of the staff.

Located 32 km from Zenkoji Temple, Itadaki Chalet provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Newly renovated property which was very clean and functional. Matt and his wife were amazing hosts and made the stay excellent! Good breakfast and comfortable rooms.

Set in Myoko in the Niigata region, 夢冒険 offers accommodation with free private parking. A microwave and kettle are also featured. Superb ski-in-out guest house and probably the best value for money you can find in Myoko. I truly felt like I was welcomed into a Japanese home. The owners are incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make my stay special. First, transportation: he picked me up at the train station quite late at night, and even gave a lift to a friend who was staying at a different hotel that didn’t provide shuttle services at that hour. He also took me to the rental shop the next day and dropped me off at the train station Second, he offered to return my skis for me, which was extremely helpful. Third, the dinner was amazing! Truly delicious, home-style Japanese food. The only thing to note is that this is a true Japanese guesthouse, so the bathroom facilities are shared and onsen-style. Also, the heating system runs on kerosene, but honestly, the heater was fantastic after a cold day of skiing. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Located within 29 km of Zenkoji Temple and 31 km of Nagano Station, SLEEEP JP Myoko provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Myoko. Amazing stay at this place. From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond. After a long flight from New Zealand, we weren’t fully organised, but they helped us with everything, even offering us dinner and arranging a car a few days later so we could get around easily. They didn’t just host us; they genuinely became friends. The place itself is very traditional, full of authentic Japanese character, and the location is perfect, right next to the chairlift up to Suginohara. Service-wise, they were always checking in and making sure we were well looked after. 10/10 experience.
