Featuring a spa bath and garden view, La Grande Villa is located in the centre of Nuwara Eliya. This property offers access to a terrace, a pool table, free private parking and free WiFi. It was Grand! Very well maintained place with cozy rooms with all amenities. Nice garden with beautiful flowers. The staff was really nice and friendly. Polite and Helpful. Food was also tasty and with enough portions..

The hotel is in a gorgeous building with a lovely feel to it. The bedroom was very comfy and the shower was fantastic. Location is good, about 15 minutes walk to the centre but within only a few minutes of the lake. There is a lovely cafe within the hotel also. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

Firstly on arrival, Kamil offered us an upgraded room as he had it available. It was very kind of him and we greatly appreciated it! Then as the Ditwah Cyclone hit, we were stranded for a further four days after our original reservation as the roads in and out of the town were unpassable. Kamil was amazing, updating us of the situation, providing hot water bottles and when the power went down all over the town, he was there with a portable lamp for us. He also drove us across town to the one spot where there was an internet connection so we could tell our families we were ok. He went above and beyond! He really tried to help all his guests so much at this difficult time. I cannot recommend this place enough! Great location, huge room, (fantastic hot and powerful shower), wonderful personnel - what more could you want!

We had a warm welcome with tea/coffee offered upon arrival. During the stay the host was very approachable for any questions we had. It’s conveniently located and walking distance to the entrance of Adams Peak. Nice breakfast is served, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Thank you for the great hospitality!

We stayed in the triple room and it was very spacious even with our big backpacks. The staff have been the highlight of this stay as well, they’ve been very helpful and recommended food places for us and also helped us book tours, they go above and beyond with the service. This is such an underrated place and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s having second thoughts about staying here - you’ll love this place.
