A fridge and toaster are also featured, as well as a kettle. We liked being out of town in peaceful countryside . There were enormous sliding windows opening on to a terrace with outdoor furniture. The view from the accommodation was a magnificent range of mountains.

The most comfortable bed with plenty of blankets to keep you warm.

The St James Premium Accommodation is a 5 minutes’ walk from the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa, restaurants and shops. Most accommodation overlooks Chisholm Park with views towards the mountains.

Hamner Springs Thermal Reserve is only 250 metres from Cheltenham House Bed and Breakfast. The shops and restaurants of Hanmer Springs town centre are on the doorstep. Great location with access to walk at one end of short street and springs and cafe/restaurants at other end. Lovely cottage in back garden. Good sized room with all amenities. Friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend.

Located in tranquil surroundings and offering air-conditioned, boutique accommodation for adults only, 8 on Oregon Boutique Lodge adjoins the Heritage Forest and Conical Hill Walkway. Guests can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the village, Hanmer Basin and mountains. What a lovely boutique lodge! I’ll definitely be back in summer again. Love the cute native birds in garden and their songs, amazing view from the balcony, delicious homemade cookies and the hosts are very friendly, responsive and attentive.

Large and spacious with so many utensils and equipment Little things like provision of milk and towels for Springs made a difference
