Location was quiet in beautiful grounds. Immaculately kept and accessible to guests. Plenty of birds and wildlife. Well situated for Restaurants, Theatre, Cinema in Kerikeri, also close to local market.

The Grays er með fjallaútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með baði undir berum himni og verönd, í um 4,5 km fjarlægð frá Northland Event Centre. I felt like I was staying with family friends. They were so friendly, I had some incredible chats with everyone, and of course the dogs were sweethearts - well trained, didn't jump up at me but did want pats if possible. I don't really write reviews normally but honestly this stay was a highlight of my trip. They did also mention that some people who come to stay aren't that sociable and that they are more than happy with that - very much each to their own so even if you aren't sociable, this will be a relaxing stay. Views were wonderful from the deck, spa was delightful, but honestly, the people were fantastic. Definitely think I'll stay here any time I'm in Whangarei going forward.

Highlander Farmstay - Cabins er staðsett í Whangarei, 12 km frá Northland Event Centre og 11 km frá Whangarei-listasafninu. Gististaðurinn er með garð og garðútsýni. Comfy and clean cabin only a couple minutes drive from Whangarei on a lovely farm. We got to feed the sheep and alpacas and especially enjoyed the pigs.

Cindy was prompt and kind to help us getting the room key, as the key locker was a bit difficult to open. The private bathroom was a separated from the room, but both were clean and warm with all necessities. It was an unexpected bonus to get snacks and drinks. The city view was really memorable. The parking was convenient and easy.

Paihia Coastal 2 Bedroom Cottages er staðsett í Haruru, 3 km frá Haruru-fossum og 4,1 km frá Paihia-höfn. Boðið er upp á verönd og loftkælingu. Lovely & charming cottage. The location was out of town center away from all the traffic and crowds of tourist.

FOREST WATERS er staðsett í aðeins 20 km fjarlægð frá Opua-skóginum og býður upp á gistirými í Haruru með aðgangi að garði, grillaðstöðu og sameiginlegu eldhúsi. Overall, the accomodation was fabulous! The grounds were really peaceful and it was only a 10 minute drive to town. So much nicer than staying in town with a lot of noise and people around. The hosts were kind, warm and generous but also gave us our own space and privacy. I'd never stayed in a B&B style accomodation before so this was a new experience and I'd do it again. If I have the opportunity to come back to the Northlands of NZ I'd definitely stay again.
