Situated in Ilha de Boipeba, Casa Bela do Sol offers beachfront accommodation 200 metres from Bocca da Barra Beach and provides various facilities, such as massage services and a garden. We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Bela de Sol! From the beginning the owner was very communicative and helped organize our pick up from the docks with Geison. Although the place is on the other side of the river it’s only a short boat ride (~2 mins) from the main pier, it makes it even more of a unique experience. Geison was always available to drive us across and made us feel very at home. Also breakfast was incredible with a ton of variety and delicious foods. Overall we always felt very taken care of and would 10000% reccomend.

I call this place, the Sheraton of Boipeba.. what an amazing place. Thanks you, Chris for your hospitality and we hope to be back. Great location, a 10 min walk from the port, by the beach. 20 min access to the wonderful west-side beaches of the island. The breakfast is wide and varied, served hot and fresh. Bungalows are clean, modern and beautifully decorated. The whole place feels like a tropical resort with birds, flowers and beauty.

Right opposite Boca da Barra Beach, Pérola do Atlântico features air-conditioned rooms with a patio and garden views. Wi-Fi is free in this entire guest house. I've travelled quite a bit and I can easily say that this was one of the best stays I've ever had. First of all, the location; you're just two steps away from the beach with a breathtaking sunset. Just a walking distance from the main deck where we get to Boipeba, so getting there was quite easy. Very close to the Villa's center, so you have supermarkets and restaurants all around you. The facilities were just lovely. We were surrounded by nature, very peaceful, with a garden full of fruits and animals. They take really good care of their cats and dogs and there is one black and white cat that is always at the main door from the inn, we called him the Gate Guardian. He was just too cute to be ignored, so we pet him every time we went in or out. Now, I cannot decide if the strongest points are the staff or the breakfast. So let me tell you about both topics: Breakfast is extremely good. Fresh fruits and juices, Brazilian delights (both sweet and salty) and good coffee. You can order eggs or tapioca and they make it at the moment. And all of that looking at a stunning view. What more could you ask for? And that takes me to the staff: Alysson and Aline were extremely helpful and accommodating since the moment I made the reservation through Booking. Communication was very easy through the app and then through WhatsApp. They gave me several recommendations for restaurants and things to do, including a super cool excursion on a quad. On my last day I had to leave very early to take the first boat at 7AM, which was before the breakfast was served. And they were incredibly generous by leaving me fruits and food on my room the night before, so I could have breakfast before I left. I was really touched by this. So if you're wondering if you should stay at this inn, my answer for you is: YES, DO IT RIGHT NOW. I hope I can come back some day! Thank you so much for the amazing stay. The whole crew is incredible.

Boipeba is the perfect balance between wildness and a certain degree of confort/amenities. The island is beautiful and there are options for all tastes. Lots of great restaurants to choose from, excursions or just get a tractor to reach fantastic sandy beaches.
Boipeba is amazing. Great food, great people, great experiences. My favorite place is Morere and Cueira. Seeing the sky by night was incredible. My favorite food was moqueca de camarão at Ority Praia Bar.
Boipeba is tropical paradise, all that you can imagine. Right now it is still not overdeveloped, but I guess that if people like me keep writing amazing reviews of the island it will end up being overdeveloped and commercialised. I hope that it will not happened and continues to have the enchanting tropical paradise factor. The worse thing for me about the island is the amount of rubbish around. I hope locals can see how bad it is one of these days and it can be cleaned up a little bit.
We loved the natural beauty and stunning beaches alongside small town rustic charm - having no cars is a massive bonus! And seeing the locals' horses taking themselves out for a walk in the evening is so charming. But although the place is quiet and the beaches untouched there is also a fantastic range of restaurants and bars to choose from! Boipeba is also completely safe and the local people are really friendly and helpful. This is the perfect beach holiday location!
Boipeba is just a paradise. I was very impressed by the organization of the excursions, they have a strict control over how many people are going to the touristic places and I really appreciate that. There are several options for restaurants and they are very careful with food allergies and preferences, such as vegan and vegetarian. The center of Boipeba's village is calm, clean and really cute. Waters are crystal clear and warm. I'd recommend a boat trip around the island, but also to have one day to walk from one beach to the other, especially the path to get to Moreré, which is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen in my life. It's good either for a romantic scape or to go with the family. I'm not sure if it's a good destination for seniors, as most of the beaches are far away and some hiking skills are needed. We got there from Salvador by personal transfer (ferry to Vera Cruz, then a 2 hour car ride, then another ferry from Valença to Boipeba), it took us around 5 hours to do so.
