I stayed in this room for a one-night layover, and overall, it was a convenient option. The room was very clean and located inside the airport terminal, making it perfect for a quick rest before a morning flight or for a short overnight stop. The downside is that the price is quite high for what you get, as it’s essentially just a place to rest. Even the menu is expensive – €37 for a sandwich, which feels steep for a simple meal. However, considering the convenience of the location for a layover, it’s manageable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was well soundproofed. Despite being so close to the airport, I didn’t hear any noise, which made for a peaceful night. All in all, it's a good option for an overnight stop, but definitely on the pricier side for what you’re getting.

The room was well equipped which was a good surprise to us: it was spacious, had two chairs, stove, utensils etc., it was clean, the bathroom was clean and the shower had a full curtain.

The Dorint Airport-Hotel Zürich was built in the shape of the Swiss Cross and is located in Glattbrugg, 1.2 mi from Zürich Airport and offers private parking at a surcharge. This stay was my third at Dorint, which can tell you much about the reliability and quality of the hotel. As per previous reviews I have filed, the room I was given is *extremely* comfortable, which I wish could be a universal standard for all hotel rooms I've stayed in. This time, knowing that the heating can be somewhat finicky, I requested a space heater from the front desk as was previously advised, and the room was essentially perfect! They also fulfilled a (paid) request for an extension to my stay, given my flight was at night, at a reasonable rate. The breakfast was, as usual, extremely high quality and filling, with everything anyone could ask for. (Note, images of breakfast were from a past trip where I stayed at Dorint.)
