CameroonThe staff was really friendly and they were always present when needed. The room was very spacious, clean and comfy. It was my first time staying in such a well decorated and nice apartment. Going forward this is where I will spend my time whenever I am in Douala.
Also, I had no issue finding the apartment as it is located next to the tared road and at night the area has good lighting which makes it easier to access the place too.
Sorry for being long but this place really exceeded my expectations.
Thanks to the Carolina lodging staff for their attention and excellent customer service.

I attained the objective of my visit.
I attained the objective of my visit. But for the poor hygiene and sanitation at the Hotel Sawa, all other things were very good.
Dinner at the Gemi Wing restaurant was excellent.
I can easily move around Douala because of the availability of different transport options.
On my net visit, I will avoid the Sawa Hotel

Douala is the life wire of the Cameroon economy, with lots businesses centered here. It is easy to get around with yellow taxi, taxi from your hotel or using a mobile app to get a taxi.
The town is at the sea bed of the atlantic ocean and the wouri river, heavy rainfall, hot and humid weather! Akwa, where my hotel was located, was not clean at all, especially at Boulevard Ahmadou Ahidjo. The streets had not been swept and refuse dump every where.
