Our host was very friendly and helped us arrange transport to and from Tarrafal. Ribiera Brava is very nice town from which you can do lots of great walks. The island has few visitors but the people here are so kind and authentic. We really enjoyed our 4 nights here and we can really recommend this place.

It is equipped with everything one might need during a short stay. I really appreciated insect nets in the windows and a fan in every room, which helped to keep the place airy and cool. Magui is a super nice and welcoming host. She was waiting for me when I arrived which allowed for a smooth check in experience. She also helped me arrange transport to where I wanted to go. Her house is located a short walk from the city center and the beach. The whole area is mostly quiet and pleasant.

Der owner of the guesthouse is a very friendly italian guy. He have a eye for beautiness can care the house and place very well. I saw the other places on the island and believe this is by far the best one!

The accommodation is very spacious, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The large terraces do not belong directly to the accommodation but can be used as well, just like the washing machine. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was extremely clean. We felt very comfortable and recommend this stay.

We loved the location right at the bay with a nice balcony to observe the daily live. You can sit there for hours and not get bored. Our host was a very nice guy who takes good care of his guests. He also arranged a good rental car to explore the island as he had a car rental business too so that is pretty convenient. Sao Nicolau is a fantastic place to visit, the locals are extremely friendly.
