This place is amazing! The people are lovely, all the green around, you hear jungle sounds all day long, love it!
The room was very spacious, complete with mosquito nets. The food was so delicious.
The kids adored the two little puppies and the cat (me too), we just left and already miss them.
It was my oldest son's birthday and they arranged a birthday cake.
Everything was perfect and I totally recommend going there!

I stayed here because the property is really closed to cuyabeno river entrance about 2 hours by bus. The guy at the reception was nice and immediately helped me with the issue I had

I had an amazing experience at Hostal Amazónico Bello Amanecer! The place is clean, comfortable, and very well located—close to everything you might need. The air conditioning was a real plus, especially after a day of exploring.
But what truly made my stay unforgettable was Elsa, the host. She treated me like family from the moment I arrived—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. She went above and beyond to accommodate my requests and offered great local recommendations that made my trip even more special.
If you're looking for a friendly and relaxing place to stay with genuine hospitality, this is it. Highly recommended!

The city has a terrific tourist park that includes tropical plants and animals as well as cultural demonstrations. Another attraction is a series of restaurant/bars along the river just past the bridge that are easily and cheaply reached by cab. We ate good food there at the Safari restaurant, and enjoyed Che Carlitos Cevicheria and a Mexican restaurant in the town center. We also did a four-day river Amazon watershed trip that was simply terrific. On the other hand, this is a frontier town and a bit uncomfortable to walk around in. But we walked around a lot at night with no problems.

Lago Agrio was a great town to stop in on the way to the Amazon. I’m glad I planned a night there on either side of my trip to recover and not travel too much every day. There’s lots of restaurants and the city felt pretty safe to walk around. I wouldn’t suggest traveling here unless you are using it as a stop along the way, but it’s the perfect kind of town to stop in to break up the travel a little.
