Excellent city for a visit with super connections to places...
Excellent city for a visit with super connections to places within Switzerland. One downside is that most shops/supermarkets are closed on Sundays so get supplies in the day before if self catering.

Everything would have been perfect except for the faulty air-conditioning. I suggest you check regularly to make sure that all amenities are in order before renting out the rooms. We had an over-all nice stay

Currently the area feels like a building site (June 2023). It’s is very dusty at times and the pavement on the walk to the hotel was full of rubble, which wasn’t easy to navigate through with a suitcase on wheels. There is a lot of building work going on just outside the centre of town and it can be noisy for hotel guests

Public transport (free as part of hotel deal) was excellent with air conditioned buses/trams running all around the centre and out into the suburbs every few minutes. Very nice vibe around the lake and great to browse the high end watch and clothing shops. Like any City as expected, very expensive for food and drinks

I booked on the basis of easiest access to return a hire car...
I booked on the basis of easiest access to return a hire car to the French side of Geneva Airport and cost for three adults to stay overnight prior to an early morning flight. This hotel exceeded our expectations in what it delivers for the price. Friendly and professional mask-wearing staff (I believe Katalina?) who upgraded our room in respect of my mobility issues and (I believe Katarina?) who gave us a wonderful recommendation to a local restaurant for the best pizza ever. The room was clean and spacious enough for three adults, with one double and one single bed. Good shower, a window which opened, a desk, clothes cupboard. Based on previous comments re room size we were pleasantly surprised as the room, the caring and professional service, a very secure gated carpark etc all exceeded our expectations. Airport is a 5 minute drive away. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Just another cheaper alternative for Geneve on the French...
Just another cheaper alternative for Geneve on the French side. It's rather suitable to those, who need the airport, for all the rest you better choose Annemasse, which is connected much better with Geneve and has more to provide on its own either.
