Flamingo stays - “quirky cottage” was an amazing stay, it’s local to the golf club and central to get to most surrounding places but tucked away quietly Down a off track road next to fields and a lovely peaceful stay for us would stay here again. Lots to do and see locally the may flower pub is in the same stretch of road and serves lovely food.

Beautiful with amazing shops, restaurants and wine bars. We ate in the Italian Zizi and shoped in Womacks which had the most beautiful lamps, wall art and furniture, everting is so close together so it’s all in walking distance,

A fantastic room in a very welcoming setting. Beautiful garden and space for sitting outside. The cottage was very clean and welcoming and checking in as very easy with plenty of information as to how to. A great host who introduced herself and made it clear that she was there if we needed anything. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great! Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you for having us

Room small and very stuffy. Only spent one night there and that was too long. En suite was tiny and difficult to use the toilet. Shower was either too hot or freezing cold with tiles missing under the entry. Bed was most uncomfortable the springs were poking up into you as you lay down. Food was not available not even Breakfast, there was a kettle and tea/coffee in room.
Toby Carvery down the road was excellent and staff very friendly

It's an interesting city although a bit run down in parts.
It's an interesting city although a bit run down in parts. There is a theatre called CAST where we saw a great panto. There's a really good museum and of course lovely countryside close by. The brilliant Yorkshire Sculpture Park is fairly close.

Our trip to Bawtry exceeded expectations. It's a bustling little market town with lovely bars, restaurants and shops. It's a short distance from the motorway so easily accessible. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Doncaster town is very depressing.
Doncaster town is very depressing. Big shops moved out and lots of shops closed entirely. Such a shame. We lived here for eleven years and moved with work but come back frequently to see friends. From the bank HSBC up Hallgate to the top is a very sad sight. Money needs investing to make it lovely again.

No breakfast availability, although food was very nice in the restaurant in the evening.
Not as clean as I had hoped - some stains on furniture where liquid had been spilt, windows and frames very dirty.
The furniture was old and some needed repairing (e.g. no handles on some of the drawers).
Bed too soft and very flat lumpy lumpy pillows.
