Hotels near Norwich International Airport - NWI, Norwich

Be aware this place needs an overhaul. Carpets are threadbare, coming away on stairs, slip hazard. Toilet seat broken, lock on shower didn’t work, drain stunk on using shower/sink, bedroom window broken, both front and patio doors wouldn’t lock or open easily. Dirty windows, cobwebs everywhere, broken chair & wardrobe in dining. Sofa stained, cushions threadbare, fireplace dusty, beds cheap, mattresses too soft and metal frames that squeak. No fit for purpose seating in the garden, one that looked ok but dare not try it, grass long. The list goes on. I have taken lots of photos too. Photos on booking.com look fabulous, this is not the case Good points…towels and bedding ! We travelled for two music concert nights @ Earlham park, this was not close, 13 min drive. Luckily we didn’t have to spend much time at the property.

The quality and facilities of this accommodation are fantastic. Lots of attention to detail with personal touches. A luxury, cosy cottage set within secure, private grounds next to the owners house in the village of Horsham St. Faith. The local pub and restaurant, The Black Swan is a twelve minute walk away and serves lovely food throughout the day. Norwich is only a few miles away and can be accessed via car, taxi or local bus services.

The location suited us because it was only a short distance from home .The surrounding area was lovely quiet and peaceful. Nice pubs within a short distance serving good food. Close to Wroxham good shops free parking and boat trips available.

Horsford is well placed for the airport but also for travelling to other parts of Norfolk to enjoy the area whether it’s the Heritage aspect of Kings Lynn or the Broads or all of the excellent coastal areas.

Earlham is a quiet area on the outskirts of Norwich, with a lovely park. There is an excellent bus service into the city. So I did not have to use Park & Ride, drive in and park in Norwich or walk all the way.

The location of Church Farm is ideal for visiting Norwich and surrounding areas. The check-in process was quick and efficient. We were asked to select our breakfast choices in advance which meant our food was served promptly soon after arrival. We enjoyed a truly excellent breakfast - generous portions and beautifully cooked! I would comment too on the quality of the towels - very soft and would like similar ones at home! On the downside, we had some difficulty in using the key (main door) when accessing the property late at night. There was a very small hook on the back of the bathroom door - not adequate on which to hook towels or nightwear. It would be beneficial to have larger hooks elsewhere for this purpose. It would also have been useful to have the traditional wooden rack on which to place a suitcase.
