The 5-star Sofitel Athens Airport’is conveniently located 164 feet from Athens International Airport. It offers a spa and an indoor heated pool with views over the airport. Top of the line hotel at the most convenient spot and best of time. Have stayed before, but, this time, the stay exceeded evertything. Just what I needed.
Markopoulo (1.4 miles from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport)
Quietly located in an agricultural area, 2.5 mi from the center of Markopoulo, Villa Vravrona Tower features a villa with an outdoor pool with a big, well-tended garden and sun terraces. Although the room was small, it was nice and quiet. The environment beautiful. The internet was not very good. However, for a one night stay, I would recommend the place. I slept very well and the personnel was very friendly. Arrangements were made for a taxi to pick me up from the airport and to bring me back the next day. This was very very helpful.

Gallery Basement in Villa Vravrona offers accommodations in Markopoulo, 13 miles from McArthurGlen Athens and 13 miles from MEC – Mediterranean Exhibition Center. Approximately 10 minutes away from the Athens Airport by taxi arranged through hotel, the grounds are beautiful -- and the basement apartment is, too. Remember it is in a "basement," that is, it is downstairs, but the room was clean, artfully decorated, and breakfast items and coffee were on hand for our early morning wake up. While other hotels in the area charge four to five times as much for such proximity to the airport, this room was a steal. Plus, the proprietor was gracious and friendly, and ensured our scheduled taxi service from and to the airport was organized!
