The private pool was a big plus! Spacious villa, all clean and well equiped. It also has a nice private parking. Sophia was a very kind and responsive host, she even offered to pick us up and drop us off from the port/airtport. We had a very good time at this apartment. I think a vehicle is necessary on the island but if you don't want to rent, there is a bus stop very close to the vila.

Delicious Greek breakfast (including Feta cheese and olives) served outdoor near the pool and lots of greenery, which made a good start of the day. Friendly staff is always there to help. The internet works well. I would come again anytime.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. Our room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided each day, including beach towels, which was a very thoughtful detail. The atmosphere of the hotel was calm and welcoming, making our vacation truly relaxing. As a couple, we appreciated the comfort and attention to detail throughout our stay. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Skiathos is a popular and lively island with a distinctly touristy vibe. Visitors are drawn not only by its beautiful nature and beaches, but also by its close proximity to the island of Skopelos – well known from the Mamma Mia! movie, with daily tours departing from Skiathos. Skiathos boasts a wide variety of beaches, many with golden sand and easy access. One of the absolute highlights is Lalaria Beach, a stunning spot with dramatic white cliffs and turquoise water – accessible only by boat.

We never get tired of this lovely island, for me it has it...

We never get tired of this lovely island, for me it has it all, although its small, it has the best beaches, Vibrant Town, with fab bars and restaurants, we never had a bad meal. That's why we always have two weeks, base ourselves in the town, which is the hub really. The bus to all the beaches is well organised. The port and its boat trips, along with the ferry taking you to other islands.

The beach was great with a good selection of sunbeds at various taverna's along the beach. Prices ranged from 20-30 euros for a pair of beds and umbrella ( this was pretty standard against other beaches). All of the restaurants supplied a great range of food and drinks and the quality was very good. Portions were normally pretty big so sharing would be advised.

This is an excellent hotel, where we have stayed overnight on a number of occasions. It gives terrific value: superb location, great food, comfortable rooms at a very good price. But what makes it truly outstanding is the friendliness and helpfulness of the people who run it. They always make us feel very welcome.

A very beautiful place, that we would come back to. A very nice host, very accommodating with everything we needed. The view from the pool/restaurant/patio was really amazing. I really reccommend this place.

Skiathos is a beautiful island and a fantastic holiday...

Skiathos is a beautiful island and a fantastic holiday destination. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe, even when out in the evenings. The local people are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere of the island. There is a good selection of shops, cafés, and restaurants, and because the island is relatively small, it's easy to reach many of the beaches using the excellent public transport network. There are also numerous boat trips available, both around Skiathos itself and to nearby islands. While most activities centre around the beaches and the sea, there are a few cultural attractions worth visiting. The monastery was particularly enjoyable and provided a pleasant change of pace from the beach. Overall, Skiathos is an ideal destination for anyone looking for stunning scenery, friendly hospitality, and a relaxed island experience.

What I liked most was the overall experience, not just the property itself. The staff were super helpful and friendly throughout my stay. They answered all my questions, guided me whenever I needed help and always pointed me in the right direction. They helped me get a car booked which was super convenient as it was brought to me and also provided me with a discount card for one of the restaurants owned by the hotel chain - the one we went to was 10 min walk and really nice food and location. The pool area was a perfect place to relax and good for hanging out some evenings. Even though the hotel was always full, it never felt busy or overcrowded, and the pool area worked really well as a peaceful space to unwind. There are excellent sea views throughout the hotel and from all the rooms. The property feels personal and unpretentious, while the goats and olive trees at the entrance from the main road give it an authentic countryside feel. The town and port are easily reached by walking along the beach, although the road is more difficult to walk along because it has very narrow pavements. This is a limitation of the road rather than the hotel.

Like all Skiathos, the hotels are not very close to the water. As most of the hotels are situated up on the mountain the view is absolutely fantastic. The most beautiful view is from Skiathos Club Resort (hotel). Good food is to be found at Azzuro Terrace and of course, at Paradise Hotel (Anastasia Restaurant) A car is reccomended there... If you don't use a car, the trip could be less enjoyable😜

Achladies is a great place to stay.

Achladies is a great place to stay. The beach is sandy and the sea warm and clear. Plenty of sunbeds. The Mojo bar is great for breakfast, lunch and drinks. Friendly and attentive staff. Water taxi is a great way to travel to and from Skiáthos town. Quick and reliable. Also enjoyed the nearby restaurants. Great food and friendly staff. The couple of supermarkets have all the basics needed. Also a regular bus route around the island.

My favourite place on the planet. I'd live there tomorrow. I've been visiting since 1994. It's beautiful. I love the variety when it comes to tavernas, bars and the many shops. The bus service is fantastic it's so it's easy to visit other places around the island. You can also take lots of boat trips to other nearby islands and around Skiathos island. There is a great little water taxi service too to some of the beaches.
