It was brand new, very modern, furnished to a high standard. Fabulous shower. In a very good location, ten minute walk into town. Angela the host was very friendly and professional. There is only 4 rooms within the guest house. Room was cleaned every day and towels changed regularly. Had little finishing touches and good ideas throughout, also had a good hairdryer, iron etc.

The Atrium Hotel is truly spectacular!! Their photos online really do not do it justice. When we arrived, we were shown around the hotel and given a welcome drink while our bags were taken up to our room. The view over their stunning pool of the bay in front is exquisite. They have a very nice, well-stocked bar and their restaurant, where one can sit overlooking the pool and the bay is one of the nicest we’ve experienced so far in Greece! Their buffet breakfast is also of a very high quality. The best part was the hot tub and private outside area that our room had. Room service brought us Prosecco and beers to enjoy in the tub. It was truly idyllic. Thank you to the friendly, wonderful staff who made the next stop on our honeymoon so great!!

Situated at the quiet end of Skiathos near Koukounaries Beach - it was peaceful and beautiful. There are amazing tavernas and a supermarket nearby which is really convenient - but a hot tip: if you are able to shop at the big supermarket in town the prices are nearly half and there is much more variety. We had a scooter so getting around was not an issue but there is also a bus stop nearby which is cheap and runs every 10-15 minutes. The room is comfortable and clean with nice touches like a fly screen on the main door to the balcony. Giannis is an amazing host, friendly and super helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved absolutely everything! The hotel is 1min walk away from the beach, has a sea view, serene ambiance, parking, it’s super clean, and above everything else it has a wonderful team of young, polite, and professional personnel. Only superlatives for the staff, they were great! ❤️ On the last day, after the check-out, you have the option to leave your luggage in a dedicated storage for it, use the pool, and have a shower in a private bathroom before you head for the airport. This was greatly appreciated as our flight was after 8pm and we spent the entire day out swimming and sunbathing.

we visited Skiathos with my girlfriend for our first vacation in Greece and it was definitely unique. First of all, Giorgos and Despina were incredible hosts and willing to help us with every question we had. Our room was cleaned daily with a change of towels and sheets (very clean accommodation). The view of the room was unbelievable, especially the sunrise was like a painting. The accommodation is very central, just 5 minutes from the center on foot. It is located on a small hill, but you don't care because the goddess is unique. We will definitely come again guys.

The pool is clean and nice, every place is maintainted. cute cats and in the morning i heard cook crowing and lambs. This is a spacious and well thought out property . Gorgeous interior and everything thought about from the use of space , seating area/breakfast bar and kitchen with a really large balcony. The bed is very big and extremely comfortable, if I had one criticism it would be that I could hear our neighbours shower or use of their hairdryer but this was only something minor. Excellent property and value for money in a beautiful location , 10 min walk into Skiathos town but if you don’t fancy the walk some beautiful tavernas on your doorstop , would 100% stay again and recommend.

Troulos beach and area is a fabulous place to stay. Beach, tavernas, with a new Maya Taverna opened this June 2026, right down the far end. Its lovely there. waitress service to their sun beds, and wi fi. great food. All the tavernas are great to be fair. BS 20 area of Troulos is flat, and an uphill road walk to BS18 the upper area of Troulos. Lots to love about the place. BS19 has the supermarket and petrol station, and the wonderful Victoria restaurant. loads of other good restaurants around too.

Lovely tavernas but not the best beach.

Lovely tavernas but not the best beach. However - a short journey on the excellent bus service and you can be at the best beaches on the island very quickly. Buses can get crowded though - so be ready to stand!

The beaches through the forest were amazing, clean peaceful...

The beaches through the forest were amazing, clean peaceful with no sports, music. Food and drinks available and very kind people. Local restaurants were very good and reasonable as were the supermarkets. The bus service is brilliant. Would definitely visit again.

Great beach nearby with taverna, lovely walks available,...

Great beach nearby with taverna, lovely walks available, regular bus service with bus stop 15 being a 5-10 minute walk downhill - not so easy going back up! Plenty of restaurants in the area including a short walk along the main road to Aghia Paraskevi which will give you more choice - we particularly liked 'Maistrali' - up the lane opposite the church, family owned and run.

Achladies is a great place to stay.

Achladies is a great place to stay. The beach is sandy and the sea warm and clear. Plenty of sunbeds. The Mojo bar is great for breakfast, lunch and drinks. Friendly and attentive staff. Water taxi is a great way to travel to and from Skiáthos town. Quick and reliable. Also enjoyed the nearby restaurants. Great food and friendly staff. The couple of supermarkets have all the basics needed. Also a regular bus route around the island.

Fabulous beaches, good restaurants.

Fabulous beaches, good restaurants. Great to spend time and recharge. Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is go to beaches and eat good food. Other than that you can buy souvenirs, walk around town or go to a bar for a drink. There is also a boat trip, which is admittedly expensive.

First of all this accommodation is far from being 5 stars. Rooms have not been renovated for years, the bathroom is so old and full of mold, needs an urgent upgrade. The hotel does not have a fitness, you have to go to another hotel if you want to use it. We booked a Suite with Sea View but upon arrival they told us it is no longer available and they give us another room for the first 3 days then we can move to the one we booked. Staff was very nice at first, but then they ignore us and not answering the phone or messages. Unfortunately, we had to leave 2 days earlier because of terrible news, my husband’s dad passed away. They didn't do anything to partially refund us. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs.

Skiathos Town itself was lovely, with cozy labyrinth-like...

Skiathos Town itself was lovely, with cozy labyrinth-like small streets and all the local cats. The atmosphere is vibrant and lively, especially in the evenings, without feeling overwhelming. There is a huge variety of tavernas, cafés, bars, and cocktail spots, so you'll never run out of places to try. What impressed me most were the souvenir shops. Unlike many tourist destinations that are filled with the same mass-produced items, many of the shops here offer handmade, locally crafted products, artwork, jewelry, and gifts that feel unique and authentic. The beaches are lovely, with crystal-clear turquoise water that is perfect for swimming. While I've seen even more impressive beaches elsewhere in Greece, Skiathos still offers a fantastic beach experience. Most of the beaches we visited were a mix of sand and pebbles, while Koukounaries Beach stood out for its long stretch of soft sand. Even in early June, when the sea was still a bit chilly (around maybe 19 degrees), the water was clean, calm, with very little seaweed. The food was excellent throughout our stay. Traditional Greek dishes were delicious, especially the moussaka, and there are plenty of dining options to suit different tastes. The locals were incredibly welcoming, and we consistently received warm, friendly service wherever we went. One of Skiathos' biggest strengths is the combination of beaches and nature. You can spend the morning swimming and the afternoon hiking through pine forests or discovering hidden coves and quieter beaches. The only major downside is the cost..of everything. Compared to mainland Greece, Skiathos felt significantly more expensive. Drinks, meals, and everyday purchases can add up quickly, like paying €5 for a draft beer or €15 for a Moussaka was quite a shock for me :D. Hopefully the new Lidl currently being built on the island will help provide more affordable options for both visitors and locals.
