Our short getaway at Terre di Senia has come to an end and we’re filled with gratitude. A heartfelt thank you to Claudia and Sena for their incredible hospitality. We were traveling with our 10 month old baby and they went above and beyond to support us, providing access to a microwave to sterilize bottles and storing baby food in their freezer. Their kindness made us feel completely at home.
The food was absolutely delicious, from breakfast to dinner, every dish was prepared with care and full of flavor.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy crib for the baby. The bathroom was also large, clean, and well-equipped.
Thank you once again. You truly made our stay unforgettable. Will surely see you again.

Casa Cristina saved us after our flight was redirected from Catania to Comiso. We arrived early hours of the morning and our lovely host collected us from the airport for a small fee and took us back to the apartment. Although our stay was short it was exactly what was needed - clean and comfortable.
Thank you also to the travel advice given to us by the host to get a bus back to our original airport. Excellent supportive help in a country we were not familiar with!
Highly recommend Casa Cristina

Lorenzo and his mother made us feel like home and spoiled us with the most delicious food. Lorenzo helped book a wine tasting at a winery nearby and even gave us a ride there. He also showed us around in his garden where he grows olives, oranges, cactus fruit and much more. His mother is an amazing cook and prepared us a rich Italian 4-course dinner every night. We got some homemade limoncello (also peach version available) to go with the dessert. The breakfast table was like a dream come true, with both savoury and sweet items, such as prosciutto crudo, mozzarella, omelette, fluffy croissants, pistachio cake, fresh fruit and more. Even our baby got some homemade fruit purée. During the day, we visited the beautiful nearby towns of Ragusa and Scicli by car, but were happy to return to the high quality dinner table in the evening and have a chat with Lorenzo and his mother. They have a nice terrace outside where breakfast or dinner can be served, weather permitting. Our room was spotless and spacious and the bed very comfortable. All in all, their place is great value for money and can be recommended to anyone who enjoys homemade Italian food and hospitality in a quiet village surrounded by wineries and local food producers.

Small apartment with a big, comfortable terrace created with love and a great vibe. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, so you'll find everything you need. It's a calm place. The host is helpful when needed but doesn't disturb you, making you feel like you're living alone.

The hosts could not do more for us. They were so welcoming to us, provided and cared as if we were family from when we booked the property... answering our questions and going above and beyond to help our stay go so smoothly.

The property was a beautiful old building full of charm and character but with a modern twist. The location on a lovely Piazza. The owner Marco was so helpful and friendly.

Comiso has no public transport and Uber does not work here.
Comiso has no public transport and Uber does not work here. The only way to get around is to get a taxi or rent a car. the town is a little old and run down but has its charm. Most places are closed in the afternoon 1-5. They open in the morning and evening. There is a lovely cafe called The Meet Cafe-the staff are super friendly and helpful. They heled us find our way around the town, would have arranged a transfer to airport to get a rental car and helped us with the language, amazing staff!. Disio is a fantastic restaurant in the town for some authentic sicilian food. Service was great too.

The town of Chiaramonte was really quiet with nothing going on during the day. There were a couple of museums and churches but othewise nothing there. We just used the area for a base as we were attending a wedding nearby, but it's a good base to visit Ragusa, Modica and Notte in the area -

I enjoyed the welcoming spirit, beautiful sea view, purring cats who come for a TLC here and there if you let them and certainly the great strategic placing, convenient if you want to visit Pantalica, Ragusa Ibla or Noto. Beautiful scenery, peace of the place, nearby sea, natural reserve, eucalyptus forrest, all that is something you don´t find all at once. I prepare the food myself, therefore cannot tell much about the restaurants, but would you go there if there is plenty of organic goodies grown right next to your terrace? :) LOVED IT

We stayed in Ragusa Ibla, which is a bus/Taxi ride away from Ragusa
There is a Bus Terminal, but you really need to find the smaller bus that takes you to the Top.
A better Bus Time table and location points would be great.
I would always want to stay in Ibla, the old part

Beautiful area big open spaces. Sicily without the tourists. Some excellent local restaurants within a short drive away.
Easy access to the motorways and visiting lots of interesting places being either shops, woodlands, and ancient temples.

Room and terrace.
Room and terrace. Very good and key to allow us direct access. People very pleasant and helpful. Misrepresented concept of restaurant, and bar It seemed they weren’t interested in offering an evening meal because there was not enough people. When we arrived there was none available as it was his wife’s birthday. The second evening he was surprised that we expected a meal but finally produced cold cuts, salad etc and no cooked dishes. The third night we gave up. Obviously they were not interested in cooking. Hardly a restaurant or even evening meal.

Beautiful city constructed on a hill top.
Beautiful city constructed on a hill top. Most likely the most well kept from the baroque belt of towns. Great restaurants with affordable prices and if you really wanna splurge there are chances for that too. Easy access from the city to the beach towns: 25 min max to the Marina di Ragusa and Punta Secca. Definitely an experience for a more sophisticated traveller.

If you want to experience something different than Sicilian...
If you want to experience something different than Sicilian tourist traps, then check it out. The small village where everyone knows each other.
Don't expect luxury or big offers at restaurants. If it's windy, it blows here like hell. But if it's nice weather, it feels like a place where time has stopped.

ragusa is okay with old system and we stop by the old city ragusa ibla too & it was a great pizza restaurant with great views , overall very nice city and hope to come again especially to ragusa ibla but difficult to find a good accommodating place yo stay so perhaps the city need to improve facilities for tourists. its better to rent a car since public transportation not very effective plus easy to drive around the area

Due to a fire at Catania Airport and Comiso Airport being consequently overwhelmed, my wife and I were stranded at night at Comiso Airport. Cristina came to our rescue, not only giving us a place to stay at the last minute, but also offering to pick us up from the airport. She was incredibly helpful during this stressful period.
The apartment is spacious, with a beautiful living room and well-equipped kitchen. Air-conditioning was great and much needed! Everything was clean and well-maintained.
