My wife and I only stayed overnight. Quite roomy for 2. Like the view of the ocean and poolside. We like going there for the hot bath in the past. Downside: very old facilities with some upgrades, toilet is very small and tight, hotel does not have free complementary breakfast.

We stayed here to celebrate my son’s birthday with our both parents.Beautiful sunset&beach,Owner’s kind hospitality made my son’s birthday special.We all enjoyed staying here a lot.We recommend to visit the hamburger shop near the place.So delicious!:)

Guesthouse RETURN ay matatagpuan sa Kitsuki, 25 km mula sa Beppu Station, 37 km mula sa Ōita Station, at pati na 41 km mula sa Kinrinko Lake. Superb property. A standalone unit located next to the host's house. The property is furnished well and reminded me of a personal bach/summer house, feels like home - loved it. The property is well equipped - a full-blown kitchen with everything you need to cook, a bathroom, a dining table, a fridge, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. The owner left some "welcome" ice cream in the freezer and then brought a watermelon he had grown in his garden as a welcome gift. Nice touch. Big supermarket store right next door - food, drinks, medicines etc. (cash only). Great location - close to major Katsuki attractions, not long drive to Beppu. The host is very friendly and helpful. At the end of the stay, he gave us a tour of Kitsuki samurai residences which was a great bonus. Thank you, sir, it was much appreciated. I highly recommend to stay here if you're visiting Kitsuki, Beppu or nearby areas.

As of may 2025, the Guesthouse only has one group at a time, so you will have it all for yourselves. Location is nice, not too far from the main locations and bus stop. Owner is super friendly.

Situated right on the coast and offering indoor/outdoor hot spring baths with a panoramic view of Beppu Bay, Spa and Resport Hotel Solage Oita Hiji is located a 15-minute car ride from JR Hiji Train... The breakfast tasted so delicious, Mr Taro from the front desk suggested it and very resonable prize. During our stay my niece was poorly, she had a fever and the night staff 2 japanese men rang the hospital for us. He even type the hospital location to my sister’s car because she struggled with reading kanji. They were all very helpful to us,they lend their thermometer even put a translator for my husband inorder to understand him. I have had a problem connecting with my sister to pick us up from the Umi Jigoku and Mr Taro was talking to us in English and all the staffs were all very helpful. Mr Taro even left the desk to ask our my niece was. Please give him an award or praise please. Many thanks to all the cleaners the onsen lady for private family bath.
