This hotel was exceptional! The staff went above and beyond in making sure that we were comfortable and had a great time. They helped us book our transportation from the airport pick-up to going to several different places in the city, without any charges. The breakfast had a wide variety, and the main dishes changed every day. From appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious! The room was always clean and, the towels/robes and kits were replaced daily. Complimentary water and tea were also provided every day.

A wonderful city full of mountains if you like climbing this...
A wonderful city full of mountains if you like climbing this will be great for you and the nightlife is not bad and the people speak Russian and are closer to Russian culture this applies to the young generation I was studying medicine in this city for a year and the experience was wonderful and life is not expensive you can live like a king for 400 dollars including everything like an apartment for a month and food and bills and outings .
From my experience, I recommend Fratelli Restaurant. It is an Italian-style restaurant and the only one that is open 24 hours. Most of the activities will be in the mountains.

Very chill and relaxed small city.
Very chill and relaxed small city. Good restaurants, some nice sites and very friendly people. If you are coming off the Pamir Mountains, do yourself a favour and stay and extra couple of days to relax and enjoy this little city.
