Luis is an exceptional host and his property is amazing. He was super communicative before and during our stay, and was there to greet us when we arrived. The bungalow is located in the jungle, surrounded by beautiful trees, plants and birds. There isn't a better location if you want to be in close proximity of Chichén Itzá!
The bungalow was stocked with everything we needed upon arrival. Luis is an incredibly generous and thoughtful host: he offered my partner and I fresh squeezed juice upon our arrival, and tea before bed. He was super accommodating to diet restrictions (1 of us is vegetarian), and in the morning he had a delicious breakfast spread waiting for us. (He even sent us on our way with leftovers!!) Luis is super knowledgeable about the area, and he provided us with so much helpful guidance about getting to the nearby attractions. We loved our visit so much and highly recommend staying here. Thank you, Luis!!

This hotel was such a wonderful place to be. Set back from the main road, with all the buildings nestled in the trees. We stayed in the suite and it was so lovely for the price. Staff were very helpful and sweet. The upper pool area was very relaxing and we had lunch served to the beach beds. Not sure what’s going on with the bigger lower pool, looked a bit dilapidated but didn’t bother us because we used the other one. You need a car there. We went to Chichenitza one morning at 8:30 and beat the crowds, it’s about 10 mins away by car.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff! The hotel is very close to the Chichén Itzá archaeological site and the Tren Maya station. The hotel offers a free transport service to and from the train station and round trip transport to the archeological site for 100 MXN. The hotel restaurant offers good food at a very reasonable price. The room was very well designed and extremely clean. The room service, the pool and cocktails were all great. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for any visit to Chichén Itzá.

Wonderfully relaxed place. The rooms I had was a spacious bungalow with a thatched roof right next to one of the pools. Shaded by giant trees and bamboo. Birds, iguanas and gekos. Dinner and breakfast were good. Staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. It’s vary close the Chichen Itza site.

The hotel is very close to Chichen-Itza - just 5 minutes drive from there.
The design of the hotel is really great - you kind of get into a hacienda-style building - pretty large (probably the largest compared to other hotels I saw nearby).
There is a pretty large pool inside the hotel.
The rooms are perfect to spend a night before visiting Chichen-Itza.
There is a restaurant in the hotel with quite an vast menu, including food for kids and national cuisine, so we did not need to go anywhere after a 2.5 hour drive from Cancun.
So, a very good choice if you are visiting Chichen-Itza and would like to get into a truly archeological vibe of those lands.
As a recommendation (not a dislike but rather an advise) - if you include the restaurant menu in here and into your website, I think that might persuade more people to choose your hotel.
And you are worth it because our dinner at your hotel's restaurant was really great!

We had a house with kitchen and garden and two bathrooms plus additional toilet at our disposal and were very happy with our stay. Private parking and a quiet neighbourhood. Over all the stay was great, hacienda was beautiful staff was not the best customer service! Waiters were great receptionist were not attentive perhaps they made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome! Would I go again yes! Hacienda was beautiful, and I will definitely go back just because of the comfort, and I would like to spend more time to enjoy the pool and peaceful feeling. I would also go back to try the spa, si ce I didn’t have the time. If I go back and I receive the same customer service from receptionists might go to another spa!

Unfortunately, whoever administers the Chichen Itza...
Unfortunately, whoever administers the Chichen Itza archeological site has made the unfortunate judgment to permit vendors on the grounds. This has created a circus atmosphere that is simply terrible. When we visited in 2002 the vendors were restricted to the parking lot, which make the experience in the ruins much better. We visited Edzna on this trip, and there was not a single vendor at the site. We also visited Ek Balam, and there were only five or six vendors permitted just at the entrance. I realize that Chichen Itza is the big draw, so if you have never been be sure to get there just as they open so you can get out well before the buses arrive.

Get there early to avoid the lines. Car Parking a bit confused, I used on of the private spots on the way to Chichen Itza its about a 5 minute walk, surprisingly it was only 80peso compared to the very crowded official one at 160 peso.
the monuments are in exceptional condition. There are many official guides but unless you want a very detailed tour I wouldn't bother. The massive number of souvenir sellers detracts from the site, they are all basically sell the same stuff. However unlike other parts of the world they aren't pushy.
