Trisha, Simon and their staff are absolutely fantastic. They provide a terrific experience. The facilities are super nice, but what stands out is that they treat you like family. Also, the food provided is truly exceptional. They should get a Michelin star. Make sure that you book the room with breakfast included. Super recommended for anyone staying in the town.

The bathroom had good hot water and pressure. The hotel is close to restaurants and shops. The owner was friendly and helpful and offered tea and coffee. They sold drinking water at a reasonable price

From what we saw, pretty much the only reason to stay in...
From what we saw, pretty much the only reason to stay in Lahad Datu is to catch a plane. We were there about 24 hours which was plenty. The airport is one of the smallest I have ever been to and was hot and crowded, but the plane was on time and got us to Kota Kinabalu.

Borneo Rainforest Lodge accommodation was great.
Borneo Rainforest Lodge accommodation was great. The tour for 2 nights was lovely. We saw the dolphins, food bats, cuckoo and beautiful birds in the morning safari and the fire flies, civet, crocodile, marble cat in the night safari.
