Changi Airport (SIN) Information
Location and Transport
Changi Airport is Singapore’s main aviation hub, and can be found 11 miles (17 kilometres) northeast of Marina Bay, the capital’s Downtown. To get there, travellers can hop on the MRT train, changing at Tanah Merah Interchange. Trains run every 10 minutes. Alternatively, you could take the 36/37A bus, which stops at all terminals and runs every 10-12 minutes, or a taxi from outside Arrivals.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
There are plenty of hotels located inside Changi Airport, in case you need to stay the night before a connecting flight. There’s plenty on offer to keep you entertained before takeoff too. From innovative art installations to a 24-hour cinema, Changi Airport is essentially a one-stop entertainment hub. Terminals 1-3 even have their own rooftop gardens, with plant species from all over the world and incredible views of planes taxiing along the runways.
Terminal Information
Changi Airport currently has four main passenger terminals, with Terminal 4 being the newest, having opened in 2017. All terminals are connected by a free Skytrain service, which operates every five minutes from 05.00 to 02.30.

The main activities are eating seafood, watching the sunset, enjoying the sea, and camping
For seafood, you can use Google Maps to find small local eateries instead of big restaurants. The prices are cheaper, the food is quite good, and it has a more homely, friendly feel
There are several small zoos in Pengerang, with ticket prices around RM20–35. They are suitable for taking kids to visit and have close contact with different animals. It’s a great place for city children to experience, and it’s very good value for money
It is best to avoid visiting during Malaysian public holidays, otherwise there will be heavy crowds and traffic jams. The beach will be lined with campers, and you will need to queue for food and activities. It is much better to go when there are fewer people so you can fully enjoy and experience the trip at a slower pace.

Singapore is a modern, impressive city with incredible infrastructure and a skyline full of iconic buildings. There is also a huge amount of construction happening, showing how quickly the city continues to grow.
We visited the historic districts and local markets as well, hoping to experience more of the city's culture. While they were interesting, the city never really won us over. It felt very organized and efficient, but a bit lacking in character and atmosphere.
One thing that really stands out is how incredibly clean everything is. It's probably one of the cleanest cities we've ever visited.
The only downside for us was the cost. Singapore is an expensive destination, and we personally prefer more affordable cities. 😄 Overall, we're glad we visited, but it's probably not a place we'd return to.

Many restaurants available nearby hotel, so the traveller guest can select the place according to his/her individual choice of food. I generally used to eat at restaurant OSMAN OR restaurant HABIB. Try to have some Food/Beverage at Restoran BANAFEE Seri Alam near TODAY's mall. One can buy fresh fruits and other necessary shopping at TODAY's mall nearby. Pharmacy shops are available nearby in walking distance, which is very good. Possible for the travellers to connect to other cities in Malaysia from TBPG (Terminal Bas Pasir Gudang).

The variety of eateries, are mind boggling, Asian Fusion for food lovers. Love the fruit market , cheap and good. Clean and organize but South Korea can give Singapore tough competition. Taxi drivers are pretty good and honest. Marina Bay ,has a great view for photos, a bit crowded but I understand, it’s a must see!!!

Had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport Hotel. The location is excellent—conveniently connected to the airport, making it perfect for early morning flights. The property is very comfortable, and well-maintained. The room was spacious and relaxing, providing a great place to rest, and the pool is fantastic and a great place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing or before a flight. We had a relaxing stay and would definitely recommend it.

Well situated and easy to get to from Changi Airport by MRT. Young, funky vibe. Excellent staff. Sung, modern, well worn room was compact but has everything you needed but NO fridge. Excellent shower and bidet. Walking distance to Raffles Centre, The National Museum, Art Gallery and Orchard Road - we visited them all. The hotel is in a very extensive Mall with many shops including a huge range of eating options and a small supermarket..
