Location and Transport
Changi Airport is Singapore’s main aviation hub, and can be found 11 miles (17 kilometres) northeast of Marina Bay, the capital’s Downtown. To get there, travellers can hop on the MRT train, changing at Tanah Merah Interchange. Trains run every 10 minutes. Alternatively, you could take the 36/37A bus, which stops at all terminals and runs every 10-12 minutes, or a taxi from outside Arrivals.

There are plenty of hotels located inside Changi Airport, in case you need to stay the night before a connecting flight. There’s plenty on offer to keep you entertained before takeoff too. For seafood, you can use Google Maps to find small local eateries instead of big restaurants. The prices are cheaper, the food is quite good, and it has a more homely, friendly feel
There are several small zoos in Pengerang, with ticket prices around RM20–35. They are suitable for taking kids to visit and have close contact with different animals. It’s a great place for city children to experience, and it’s very good value for money
It is best to avoid visiting during Malaysian public holidays, otherwise there will be heavy crowds and traffic jams. The beach will be lined with campers, and you will need to queue for food and activities. It is much better to go when there are fewer people so you can fully enjoy and experience the trip at a slower pace.

An amazing city with so much on offer... wish we had longer. We had one full day and spent it at Universal Studios. It was very organised and a great experience. The MRT metro was easy to use, very clean and very very cheap transport. MRT staff were helpful at guiding us to the right places. We stayed within walking distance to Arab street where the food was great... we went at night to Gardens By the Bay and watched the tree lights show... great experience for the kids, felt very safe but we had to walk a lot and it was hot, even at night.

Many restaurants available nearby hotel, so the traveller guest can select the place according to his/her individual choice of food. I generally used to eat at restaurant OSMAN OR restaurant HABIB. Try to have some Food/Beverage at Restoran BANAFEE Seri Alam near TODAY's mall. One can buy fresh fruits and other necessary shopping at TODAY's mall nearby. Pharmacy shops are available nearby in walking distance, which is very good. Possible for the travellers to connect to other cities in Malaysia from TBPG (Terminal Bas Pasir Gudang).

Those love the nature, quiet and peaceful place will be happy to come here. Really peaceful. They also have lots of seafood restaurants and fresh cooking. Delicious. Not fussy person, I think it will be good to come here and escape from busy hectic life schedule in town.

It’s a nice modern hotel located very close to Changi Airport. We only stayed 24 hrs, but the hotel was very pleasant with nice amenities such as an outdoor pool, and quite a decent shopping mall just a very short walk away. The MRT (subway) is close so it’s convenient if we want to see the sights.

This is our go-to Changi Airport Hotel. 3 times now and we'll be back. Very convenient, 24hr reception. Cheap taxi s$25. or even cheaper: about 4 stops on the SMRT. Couple of cafe restaurants close by. If you have one of those terrible 20hr or less stopovers where you don't have time for anything but sleep! This is the place!
