Changi Airport (SIN) Information
Location and Transport
Changi Airport is Singapore’s main aviation hub, and can be found 11 miles (17 kilometres) northeast of Marina Bay, the capital’s Downtown. To get there, travellers can hop on the MRT train, changing at Tanah Merah Interchange. Trains run every 10 minutes. Alternatively, you could take the 36/37A bus, which stops at all terminals and runs every 10-12 minutes, or a taxi from outside Arrivals.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
There are plenty of hotels located inside Changi Airport, in case you need to stay the night before a connecting flight. There’s plenty on offer to keep you entertained before takeoff too. From innovative art installations to a 24-hour cinema, Changi Airport is essentially a one-stop entertainment hub. Terminals 1-3 even have their own rooftop gardens, with plant species from all over the world and incredible views of planes taxiing along the runways.
Terminal Information
Changi Airport currently has four main passenger terminals, with Terminal 4 being the newest, having opened in 2017. All terminals are connected by a free Skytrain service, which operates every five minutes from 05.00 to 02.30.

The main activities are eating seafood, watching the sunset, enjoying the sea, and camping
For seafood, you can use Google Maps to find small local eateries instead of big restaurants. The prices are cheaper, the food is quite good, and it has a more homely, friendly feel
There are several small zoos in Pengerang, with ticket prices around RM20–35. They are suitable for taking kids to visit and have close contact with different animals. It’s a great place for city children to experience, and it’s very good value for money
It is best to avoid visiting during Malaysian public holidays, otherwise there will be heavy crowds and traffic jams. The beach will be lined with campers, and you will need to queue for food and activities. It is much better to go when there are fewer people so you can fully enjoy and experience the trip at a slower pace.

Many restaurants available nearby hotel, so the traveller guest can select the place according to his/her individual choice of food. I generally used to eat at restaurant OSMAN OR restaurant HABIB. Try to have some Food/Beverage at Restoran BANAFEE Seri Alam near TODAY's mall. One can buy fresh fruits and other necessary shopping at TODAY's mall nearby. Pharmacy shops are available nearby in walking distance, which is very good. Possible for the travellers to connect to other cities in Malaysia from TBPG (Terminal Bas Pasir Gudang).

I enjoyed the orderliness of Singapore after the chaos (tho fun) of Vietnam. Loved the many gardens and canals scattered throughout the island. It is known to be expensive but eating at the hawker markets is very affordable and the food and selection is great. Transport system easy to use / just swipe yr Visa card on & off. Highly recommend a heritage tour of Raffles Hotel and Guru Walking tours - both give great insight into both current & past Singapore.

Have visited Singapore perhaps 25 times over the past 60 years and each visit reveals new attractions. Singapore keeps improving over time whereas most cities degrade. Cleanliness is exemplary and an object lesson to the decaying Western cities with ever-worsening graffiti, littering and poor maintenance.

Crowne Plaza Changi Airport was the absolute best choice for our one-night layover! You truly can't beat the convenience, especially when transitioning between flights.
Living up to Singapore’s world-class standards, the service, atmosphere, and amenities were top-tier across the board. The room was exceptionally comfortable, allowing us to get a great night's rest and leave feeling completely refreshed and ready for our next journey.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a seamless, luxurious, and stress-free stopover!
