As we only had one and a half days in Singapore we used there public transport system as much as we could to get us around , Really clean well laid out city as best we could see it appears to have everything for a good city break or stopover Chinatown and Marina bay areas well worth a visit MRT very easy to negotiate from Airport just activate your phone ie: Apple / G pay or your CC at machine outside of barrier and you just use them to journey on and journey off as needed

The whole city was amazing, we felt safe everywhere. Clean, easy to navigate, the mrt ( tube), was spotlessly clean and efficient and never crowded. So much to see and do, so much more than expected. A long way to travel but so worth it if you're heading to that part of the world singapore is so much more than a stopover. Be ready for the humidity but also not as bad as expected. Try and do a Singapore Sidecars trip, absolutely fantastic.
