  • The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

    The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

    Marina Bay, Singapore

Located in the Central Business District, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore is a 5-minute drive from Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. It features a spa, infinity pool and 24-hour fitness centre. I chose Fullerton as a weekend getaway for my birthday and couldn't be more pleased with my choice. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. From the moment I was greeted in the lobby to check out all staff were professional and very helpful in fulfilling my requests and providing surprising personal touches that made my stay so special. I really felt like queen for a day. I arrived early morning and was greeting by Lee. Although it was too early to check in I was escorted to the hotel's shower and spa facilities to freshen up and relax. The pool is beautiful and quite spacious. I only regret not having brought my bathing suit. I decided to have breakfast in the hotel and so glad I did. Everything you could want for breakfast and more is available on the buffet and is fresh and delicious! After breakfast I took the river cruise which picks up right in back of the hotel. Upon my return my room was ready for early check in at 11 am. I was given a lovely spacious room with a king sized bed and happy birthday balloons. The bathroom facilities included a huge tub and all the necessary supplies for a bubble bath and pampering. I booked a massage at the hotel spa which was wonderful and refreshing. While relaxing in the room in the afternoon the staff delivered a chocolate cake and birthday card from the hotel manager. I usually don't prefer chocolate cake but this one was delicious! Since the breakfast was so good I decided to have lunch in the hotel restaurant the next day. So glad I did. The Hainanese Chicken Rice assortment of Satay and a glass of champagne were a delicious choice. They were preparing the Sunday brunch which I will have to indulge in on my next visit. Although I didn't use them, a cell phone is provided to take with you to use while out touring and a Samsung tablet for use in the room for surfing the internet. For my first time visit to Singapore the location cannot be beat! There's so much to see and do nearby.

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.
