Climb to astonishing heights amidst the skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur. Look up at the Petronas Towers and, if you’re feeling fit, participate in one of the foot races to the top of the Kuala Lumpur Tower. When you descend the mixture of cultures that make up this vibrant city will greet you.
The capital of Malaysia offers a colourful array of cultures, cuisines and shopping opportunities. Kuala Lumpur’s diversity is on centre stage in China town’s Petaling Street, the food stalls on Jalan Alor, the history of Merdeka Square and the temples and mosques scattered throughout the city.
As the temperature soars in the year-round heat, find refuge in the manicured greenery of the Lake Gardens. Air-conditioning offers more comfort in the famous shopping malls including the Suria KLCC, where anyone can find the perfect gift or momento.

Kuala Lumpur is a fascinating city with mixture of different cultures. For me it was interesting to talk to the local people and to visit different areas of the city. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to spend more time there and even to visit other cities.
KL was an interesting place to send a few days. I love the Malay street food and the whole immersive experience of being in a country for a good length of time to experience the daily activities of the locals. Our travels were extended because we included the waiting time for a China visa in KL. I allowed a few extra days to get the visa but the China Visa centre process is so efficient these extra days were not needed. So we did the City bus tour and we used the surburban train system to get around and see the attractions.
Kuala Lumpur is a Rich heritage and multiculture states of Malaysia. you can eat many different type of traditional Malay, India, Chinese, Western Food. Place to go Kuala Lumpur Tower (you can have buffets on the top of the tower). Batu Caves is one of the popular place to go. Petaling Street Market is Malaysia China Town sell cloth, chinese foods etc. Many western and Asian come to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for check up or treatment. They are professional and affordable. Genting is best of all.
Please stay away and book yoruself in a better place. While the view from the apartment is good, everything beyond that is way below average. The housekeeping staff are rude, unhelpful and honestly dont care about the guests. Communication is poor, borderline rude. The wifi doesn't work (a technician came late at night, opened some boxes and left without fixing, no informing), there are no hooks to keep clothes in the loo, the place ran out of the toilet papers and after requesting multiple times, someone cared to answer late at night after the whole day. On request for towels, dirty and unclean towels were provided. AirBnB and short stays are not allowed in this buildng, o idea how these people are running it, but this is probably the worst place I have stayed with my family in Malaysia. Do yourself a favour, and book a hotel, at least you wont feel frustrated throughout your trip.
I liked KL for its food and metropolitan atmosphere. Wish I had the time to venture out of the city. KL does feel like a lot of places are still under construction but it appears to be developing fast and quite accomodating to tourists
Although we have not toured much in the area, we went to Batu Caves and Genting Highlands. It's a great place. We could have stayed more to experience the night market and the shopping centers. Sure to come back.
