FAQs about hotels in Kuala Lumpur

The Happening Hub of South East Asia

Climb to astonishing heights amidst the skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur. Look up at the Petronas Towers and, if you’re feeling fit, participate in one of the foot races to the top of the Kuala Lumpur Tower. When you descend the mixture of cultures that make up this vibrant city will greet you.

The capital of Malaysia offers a colourful array of cultures, cuisines and shopping opportunities. Kuala Lumpur’s diversity is on centre stage in China town’s Petaling Street, the food stalls on Jalan Alor, the history of Merdeka Square and the temples and mosques scattered throughout the city.

As the temperature soars in the year-round heat, find refuge in the manicured greenery of the Lake Gardens. Air-conditioning offers more comfort in the famous shopping malls including the Suria KLCC, where anyone can find the perfect gift or momento.

If you’re travelling in South East Asia, there’s a good chance you’ll fly into Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Within 30 minutes you can be in the heart of a city which offers every type of accommodation from spas to budget rooms, 5-star hotels to dormitories. No matter what your budget, with 250+ hotels Booking.com has a place for you in KL.

Kuala Lumpur is a very interesting city to visit with the diversity of races. Cost of dining, transportation and sightseeing are much cheaper than other capital cities of South East Asia. It is unbelievable that the taxi and Grab are unbelievably cheap so you don’t have to walk under the heat. Food of different races are show cased in the city at a very cheap price yet very good in quality.

City is vibrant and good need to visit in a better days - I Dont recommend during hot / summer days (It was extremely hot and humid outdoor) Metro is confusing and with so many service providers by the time you learn about it and understand its time to leave the country. be ready for lots of walk and stairs up and down

The city itself is full of lights, sights, sounds and smells...

The city itself is full of lights, sights, sounds and smells that will not disappoint. Depending on your purpose to come to this destination, as a city break for us 2 nights was enough. It is easy to get around using 'Grab' however do allow time for traffic as there are currently a lot of roadworks going on throughout the city that can lead to delays (we missed our bus to Langkawi due to being stuck in traffic!) Batucaves is a must see as it is so unique and provides a different perspective to a citybreak. The monkeys are cute to look at but be careful of your bags as they are not shy to take a look through them and grab any food that you may have in your hands! Multiple choice of foods available to you and very reasonable prices. Night market is quite a sight if you do not mind the smell of raw meat/animal organs and fish being cooked. People are really friendly, it is a very safe place to be, there is a real display of wealth around the Petronas Towers and through designer shops in shopping malls and then you have the back streets with the smaller one man businesses that are far better to go to. As we were short of time I think we managed to see all that we wanted to in Kuala Lumpur and feel that we have now ticked that box and should explore other areas in Malysia for sure. It was a good taster!

Since it was not our first visit, we did not do a lot in this trip. However, overall it is a beautiful city with a lot to do for all ages, especially Bird Park, Sunway Lagoon, Shopping, especially around Bukit Bintang. The weather is however too humid.

There are so many interesting things to see.

There are so many interesting things to see. China town is a bustle of hawkers and shops who all want your money, but without pressure. Easy walk to all the important historic sites, temples, mosques, and museums. Many shopping malls and the central market within 5 minutes walk. Hundreds of eating places from street side to fancy restaurants. 5 minutes walk to the Indian area where there are superb Indian restaurants at very low prices. All convenience stores sell very cols soft drinks, beer and spirits, though they are in a small cabinet away from main sales. Prices are low compared to Europe but higher than the Philippines, lower than Japan or Korea.

Please don’t get scam by Binjai 8 premium soho !!!

Please don’t get scam by Binjai 8 premium soho !!! It’s not like the photo shows in the website. And worst as it has bed smells in the house and a lot of cockroaches!! I would not booked if I saw the photos of the house during booking time. It’s totally worst and doesn’t match with the price. I am advising to other travellers for not to choose this apartment as it is totally different from what they showed and described in the website. NIGHTMARE!!!!!!

IT was my second time stay in Concorde (after 10 years) and this hotel remains my favourite for a stay in Kuala Lumpur. Location is ideal (and Grab's come here very quickly) , walk to KLCC and Bukit Bintang. One of the best buffet breakfast with so many food choices. Very clean and spacious pool with nice sitting area. Live music with all bands performing hits and also take your song requests. I cannot find any flaws in this hotel and recommend everyone with family or for business visit to stay in this hotel.
