For my goal—staying a few nights to explore Bratislava before continuing to Vienna—it was nearly perfect. The biggest plus is that it’s literally a 3–5 minute walk from the airport, so if your plane lands late, it’s an ideal choice. The bus to the city center of Bratislava stops just 2 minutes from the apartment and goes all the way to the train station. Check-in and key collection were flawless, with no issues at all. Additionally - you get parking spot in underground garage, if you come with your own car.

Location and Transport

Bratislava Airport is set 6 miles (9 kilometres) north-east of the centre of Bratislava. Its setting in the heart of Europe means it’s within easy reach of three neighbouring countries, and just an hour’s drive from Vienna, Brno and Győr. Taxis are a swift way of getting between the airport and the centre of Bratislava, costing around EUR 15–20 for a 20-minute journey. Bus route 61 (which becomes the N61 night route between 23:30 and 03:30) runs between the city’s railway station, Hlavná Stanica, every 20 minutes.

Nice place. Very busy in the city center. We were only stopping by before heading to Vienna. Another country ticked off the list. Friends from Slovakia recommend hiring a car to see the countryside but we didn't have the time unfortunately

I liked the Nivy area, it's very new and well organised with...

I liked the Nivy area, it's very new and well organised with lots of green areas. There are a lot of shopping opportunities in the centre and around. Lot's of coffee shops and places to eat. The bus station is close by, and it was easy to get to from the Bratislava Airport.

Cozy and comfortable apartment.

Cozy and comfortable apartment. It is close to the highway if you come by car, and it is connected to Bratislava by bus lines. It is certainly easy to find accommodation. We walked and ran in the morning along well-maintained paths through the nearby woods. It was a really relaxing vacation.

Excellent place, well equipped and spacious. Very good air con, lovely balcony. Easy self- check-in, very prompt and informative assistance from the host. Location is good- not far from the centre but good for rest. I highly recommend the place!

The apartment is situated on top (5th) floor and no lift/elevator available, which is not indicated in their sales introduction, and we hardly managed our luggage upto the room; shower can easily spill water out of the bathroom which is doorless but open to toilet area; towels are dark colour and rough (see picture); bedding is uncomfortable and quilt/blankets are easily messed up between inside stuff and outer cover(see picture); no napkin tissues are provided on dining table; toilet papers are limited to 2 rolls for 7 days’ stay.

The owner did not want to accept us into the apartment at all. He rejected our reservation without any valid reason or explanation. We felt very humiliated and disappointed. Shocking, horrible, incomprehensible. Extremely bad experience and feeling.

Bratislava is a perfect city to enjoy the neighbors cities like Vienna , and Budapest, Bratislava is a very clean , organized and transport friendly city,also its cheaper with the same standard of services compared to the neighboring cities . the city is not too crowded ,people in general are pleasant and the food was just perfect

Good place to be in Bratislava if you are looking for place...

Good place to be in Bratislava if you are looking for place outside of busy city center. Having lake Strkovec near is a big plus and also very convenient for sports fans, since it is close to hockey and football stadiums.

You need time to familiarise with connecting public transport. Plenty new development in central Bratislava and free bonus access to tourist sites with the Bratislava card . Download the app and get it for 24 or 48 or 72 hours with access to all public transport with your mobile phone.

We were pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood (Petržalka). It’s a very well-maintained and green area, with lots of open spaces and parks. You can really tell that the locals take good care of their surroundings – everything felt clean, tidy, and peaceful.
