Sam is a great host, very flexible & helpful. The property was as described & matched our expectations. It's close to the airport, rather than the main town, so transport is needed to get into Vero Beach, but the quiet suited us. The house is in a residential area, so don't expect to walk to the shops or the bars, it's quite dark at night, but everything is just a quick drive away. There's lots of wild birds about, if that's your thing, & you're a short drive from Fort Pierce to see manatees, & the boat trips out to see the dolphins. We very rarely saw any aircraft from Vero Airport (there's a great restaurant in the terminal), there's no nuisance from there, we did get a good view of a Space X launch from Canaveral though. The property is right up to date, with TVs throughout, & USB charging from the various desk lights in the rooms. The air conditioning was very efficient, the laundry (wash & dry) very helpful, the parking arrangments were fine, & there's plently of room. We'd happily return, it's a great base for exploring the area.

This Vero Beach hotel offers classically furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi and a cable TV. It features an outdoor pool and is just 3.2 miles from the McKee Botanical Garden. I love staying at this hotel because of who they are and the location is central to anything and everything, even a Veterinarian Hospital,if need be. Of all times they sheltered me during the most recent Hurricane MIlton and the staff were so busy making sure the building was safe as the flooding began. We had constant tornado alerts for about two hours before the winds kicked in, and we lost power immediately, as a tornado that had briefly touched down knocked out service. The halls were well-maintained with light. Breakfast is primarily coffee and a breakfast bar, but Dunkin'Donuts is right next door, and the Pancake House as well as every other fast food place and Walmart is directly across the street. THe pool area is nice, well-maintained and private. My best kept secret is this hotel so I know I have a room when I need it. Great way to feel about a place when you cannot make it home.
