I spent 3 days at Janessa's and my stay was wonderful! Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The location is fantastic - 5min walk from the airport (taxi costs 1000 vatu) and the noise level is surprisingly low. The estate is spacious and beautiful. I had a room with a big balcony and the delicious breakfast was there every morning. The room itself was quite hot, but the fan helped a lot! The kitchen has everything you need even for a longer stay. The downtown is a ~50min walk away or since the earthquake, ~30 to 60mins by bus depending on where you're going. Majority of downtown was closed during my stay (January) and some of the roads had suffered quite a bit.

We were very much in doubt about this place, due to the low ratings. However, the reality is that the hotel was hit badly by the December 2024 earthquake and they are currently rebuilding the place. We got one of the new rooms. Thus, everything is freshly painted and all furniture is new. Consequently, we can highly recommend it for a night or two if you need to be close to the airport. It is just a short walking distance.

It was decided to relocate to central bay motel for travel convenience- excellent- management and staff very helpful.

The room was perfect : fully functional, comfortable bed, and with a spectacular view from the balcony. We loved the interior design. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice pool. Quiet neighborhood.
