We were coming quite late the first day and Sotiria (owner) was waiting for us with a smile and offered us something to drink. The room was basic but super clean. Sotiria was there all the time, also with her sister. Every morning no matter what time we decided to wake up (7 am or 11am), with a smile and ready to prep breakfast (fresh bread, you can see a man delivering it every day in the morning), jam and cheese, butter and marmalade (she also offered us home made fig mermelada), boiled eggs, some juice and Greek coffee or frappe. To be honest we have found 2 lovely grandmas ready to spend time with us and talking (google translate). We are going to come back next year for sure. Wish the best for Sotiria, I wish she could get more help from her family.

This was the first stop on my Corfu Odyssey and I cannot have loved it more. Set in an olive grove with a gorgeous pool surrounded by vivid blooms, it felt magical. The place itself is spartan but exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Our hots were so kind and accommodating. Our plane as late, so they waited up for us. The chilled bottle of water and wine in our apartment was a lovely addition. The apartments are a 10 minutes drive to the lovely village of Agios Matthios, 15 to Halikounas (were you may spot flamingoes) and about 30 to Santa Barbara beach and the gloriously sandy beaches of the southwest, where you can lounge on a sun bed or bring your own umbrella, walk 10 minutes away from the crowds, and feel like your Robinson Crusoe. It was a perfect introduction to Corfu!

Great location, very close to the sea (it takes 20 seconds to get on property’s private beach from the room and you can actually hear the waves from the room which I found extremely relaxing). The location has its own restaurant with amazing food (always fresh sea food and traditional dishes) and a spectacular view during sunsets. The room was big enough (we had a studio room with king size bed), very clean (cleaning service everyday) and generally covered all facilities mentioned in the description. Last but not least the staff was great, giving the real feeling of a family business.

The room was just like in the pictures. Well equipped, big and cofy bad. The location is great and I liked that it was quiet.
