We stayed in a "budget apartment" which was more than we needed for a weekend stay. The word "budget" could be removed from the title of the booking - in a highly competitive price we have got two rooms, equipped kitchen, toilet with amenities, even sleepers and welcome water. Everything clean and cosy. In addition a lot of free parking spaces. We have highly enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel - kind of mysterious ghost hotel, reminding movies by David Flynch. There was a mystery there, but from the other hand a lot of pictures showing old good times of the hotel, full of rich people enjoying the stay. Yes - with no shadow of hesitation we can recommend this place and hopefully we will come there again.

Set in Chiavenna, on the central Bertacchi Square, La Sciora Oliva offers modern apartments with free WiFi. Madesimo, popular ski resort, is 20 km away. Excellent location in the downtown of Chiavenna - very close to the train and bus station. A nice supermarket with lots of local products just cross the square. The apartment is very clean, spacy and well-equipped with A/C and home appliances (microwave, washing machine ...). The owner (Mauro) is a nice person.
