I am a guest of Mar Bianco for the second year in a row. This is an amazing place. After entering through the solid gate (which would befit the Bank of England, it is so solid) you are in another world, almost like Narnia. Between two buildings in which there are spacious apartments each with its own terraces there is gleaming pool with crystal clear water. Last year, my friend and I stayed in an apartment below ground level. It was huge! I would never have expected such a large place for the price. Two spacious bedrooms and a living room with a kitchenette which itself was bigger than the bedrooms combined. the From the kitchen there is a door leading to the apartments own, private garden (by private I mean, for example, like turning on the private mode in the internet browser - something amazing ) the garden was luxuriant and well tended with a table and 4 chairs. Each of the bedrooms and the living room were equipped with large flat smart TVs connected to the internet. Each bedroom and the sitting room had its own independent air conditioning unit. All were working and could blast out blood-cooling air that was so frigid that even if it was 40 degrees outside you could be assured of a good sleep. I almost forgot to mention that each of the bedrooms had its own separate private bathrooms. The mattresses are of course very comfortable. As a measure of this, I always woke well-rested; usually I wake with back-ache when in a strange bed. This year we stayed in an apartment on the ground floor with a terrace overlooking the pool. As before, each of the bedrooms and the kitchen have independently operating air conditioners, all working and with its own remote control. The ground floor apartments are slightly smaller (we had no problem with this). The bathrooms are well-appointed with a great shower. The smaller kitchen is amply compensated for by the terrace where you can sit comfortably, slightly elevated, and study the pool area. What more coukd a guy wish for!

About 20 - 25 minutes drive from ferry port in Las Palmas. A perfect location in lovely surroundings for our excursions on the northern half of this astounding beautiful island. We avoid highways to maximise motoring pleasure when sightseeing but if you use these then you can be in Maspalomas or Agaete in less than an hour. Equally good connection to airport. Fabulously scenic mountain roads to Arucas, Teror, Tejeda and more. So much to explore! Shops, restaurants, golf, walking, all close at hand. There are good bus connections but would strongly recommend a hire car. Historical building, a much loved family home converted into stylish spacious apartments which are lovingly furnished, immaculately maintained and absolutely spotless. Everything speaks of quality and high end finish. Ultra fast wifi! Gardens and grounds are equally gorgeous and there´s a lovely pool, BBQ area (all provided) and comfortable seating spread around the grounds. Generously sized parking spaces and a very good level of security. Good in-room info. Excellent beds. Paths are well lit. The weather was damp and cool during our stay but we were snug and warm...always happy to return after a long day out and about. The heart of any stay here is however the superb hospitality and kindness. Perfect mix of discretion and honest interest in guests, their travels and lives. They really go that extra mile and that above all else will be what we take with us. We had a wonderful week here and would return in a heartbeat.

The sand on the beach was so soft and the sea so gorgeous. The apartments are excellent. Out of all the island hops....tenerife, lanzarote and fuertaventura, gran canaria had the mildest climate of all 4. ....based on the resorts we went to Gran Canaria and Anfi were excellent. Would come back to Gan Canaria and Anfi.

Well what can I say perfection from arriving and being greeted by Carmelo who was a lovely host. There was a free safe and iron also English TV channels usually all services you would have to pay for. We had a free bottle of water,wine & chocolate bars in our room. The housekeeping was spotless I have never in all my stays had my room cleaned daily so it was nice to have fresh towels and a clean apartment. The apartments are modern fitted with everything you need comfortable beds and pillows and you get no noise from the lively centre so perfect if you're looking for a quiet holiday. Air conditioning was the best thing ever and such a bonus, the location is a short walk to beach and short walk to center so very central also only a little hill and no stairs 🎉 Thank you to all the staff hope to see you all soon

Everything was wonderful - personal and apartment was better than in pictures. Also, there is plenty parking spaces for free, but in a daytime it’s a bit harder to find a place.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub, Idyll Suites - Adults Only is located in Playa del Cura in the Gran Canaria Region. Playa del Ingles is 16 km from the property. The design, the space, the view, the staff were just wonderful. It was really nice that they gave us mineral water (4 big bottles). The location was very handy and the profile of the people who stayed there were just perfect (very calm and no parties). The local beach was small but very clean, walkable, and quiet. The restaurant was alse a good option with tasty dishes. We would definitely come back there for a longer holiday.
