When arriving at port Marina Grande by ferry, a Funicolario (do not forget to buy tickets in advance at the island's bus and funicular counter next to the port) comes in handy for carrying you up to the town central Piazza for a reasonable price. Be prepared that the streets are narrow and paved with cobblestone, so best use a suitcase with wheels. - The hotel's staff is exceptionally friendly and caring, it was even possible to put a suitcase of a colleague that did not stay in this hotel to pass the time between check-out and return trip. All in all, I had a thoroughly pleasant stay! - Grazie mille!
