Great location: Only a 10min walk to the Blue metro line. Lots of restaurants in the food court in the metro station. Local restaurants within walking distance, and tons of Grab options. Being down a few side streets also meant it was a quiet area without too much traffic. Staff: Very friendly staff, we arrived very early in the morning and a staff member was there to check us in. That small gesture was wonderful. Every time we saw them they were always smiling, and seemed genuinely happy. Cleanliness: All the common areas were cleaned daily. If you wanted your room made up you just had to hang up the sign. Features: I appreciated that each floor had a communal sink so that you could clean your dishes, and cutlery (provided in the room) after eating. AC worked well, and cooled the room down quickly.

The attention to detail that has gone into renovating a historical property and bringing it back to life is clear to see and there is a wonderful nautical theme running throughout the property and its rooms with beautiful rope lighting and strong nets etc which nods to the fact that it is close to the Sathorn Pier and an integral part of the local fishing community that operates all around it. After traveling around to so many places with only showers, I loved having a bath in the big bath tub too! The coffee shop in the basement of the building is a great place to grab a coffee and do some work or life admin while you sip it and the people running it are really kind and friendly. They gave guests vouchers for free breakfast and a drink at a restaurant next door where I ticked 'authentic fish porridge' off my bucket list of things to try and it was delicious. That kind of partnership initiative speaks to their ethos of wanting to give back to the local community which I liked and appreciated too. To round off an incredible stay, I got a polaroid keepsake photograph in the coffee shop with Vitanya which Daniel and she both added a handwritten note to :) I would definitely recommend this place and hope to be back one day myself - thank you for everything!
