Although the host responded quickly and was proactive in trying to resolve the issue, unfortunately there was no hot water the night I stayed. I waited from 10pm until midnight, but only cold water was available, so I wasn’t able to take a shower after a long and exhausting day. The room itself was very clean, and the location is close to the train station, which is convenient. However, if you are carrying large suitcases, be prepared for a steep uphill walk, which can be tiring.

Our stay at this apartment was nothing short of exceptional. Everything exceeded our expectations — from the warm and professional service, to the top-cozy facility and marvelous location. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect: peaceful and relaxing. We arrived to our lovely apartment after trekking the Via Alpina in the pouring rain. Our host, Ralph, was very responsive via WhatsApp. He explained where the laundry was located so we could wash and dry our clothes. There was an amazing fresh produce market and bakery a block away and the Migros was across the street. The train station was a block away and the gondola less than 10 minute walk. It was truly in the perfect location. It ended up being just what we needed to break up our long trek!

What an amazing location within walking distance of the Trauffer Museum and Ballenberg Museum and so many fabulous hikes! The room setup was perfect for our trip with grandparents. The apartment and kitchen were very well appointed and had everything we needed! The place was perfectly clean. We will absolutely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet Brünig. It is a beautiful Chalet with very good attention to detail on everything. We have a baby and really appreciated the crib, baby chair and even a gate for the steps. Very thoughtful of the owners!!

The apartment was clean and comfortable and close to everything. Peter made it special! He met us there and shared many ideas for things to do in the area and was always available if we needed anything. If you are staying in the area and his place is available—go for it!

    This is an amazing place for families to stay, situated in a great spot for hiking or travelling around. The flat is large and airy and has a great balcony to admire the stunning views around. The business owners offer a great level of customer service and are happy to accommodate plenty of individual requests
