Also, Dette went out of her way on two separate occasions to make the mechanics of our stay go super smoothly-honestly she is a saint. I recommend her apartment very highly.

I enjoyed the excellent views, privacy, super fast WiFi for my work, washing machine, air conditioners in each room, comfortable beds/sofas, centralized location close to all the food options. Take the Jack's Trail in morning for a great view. If you are looking for an affordable option to get to the DOM airport - take the local bus on Great George street near the bridge for 12.50 ECD (~5 USD) to get dropped near the airport (allow 30 mins to get the bus filled up and 1.5 hrs to get the airport).
