If you are looking for a wonderful rural place to stay in the beautiful Slovakian countryside, look no further. You would probably not expect such a brand new and very modern and comfortable apartment in the tiny village of Solka, but that is where it is! Apartmány Solka can easily accommodate a family of four, with two bedrooms and four beds (one a double twin), and it is very spacious. Parking right outside. Čičmany is a must see, and is only 25 minutes away. Bojnice Castle is just 20 minutes away. It was a pleasure to meet Marosh and Monica and Zara and to have a nice conversation with them. That, and the beautiful Slovakian farm fields and forests made this stay very memorable.

Excellent location (if you prefer solitude and nature) with a nice mountain view. Super clean, a lot of space in the apartment. Safe parking area. Good starting point for several hikes and cycling routes. Also well positioned for going for longer trips by car in multiple directions (Rajecke Teplice, Bojnice, etc.)

Great location, friendly staff, and cozy, well equipped room with floor heating in the bathroom, not to mention trail to Klak just on the opposite side of the road. What else can you ask for. Not first, and not the last stay.

a spacious apartment big enough for a large group/family, recently renovated and under continuous improvement by the host, true to its description here, residing in a typical residential building. extra clean, good heating, perfect even for a very longer stay due to featuring a washing machine, fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a vacuum cleaner, a big TV and a fast internet connection. great communication with the host, free parking available, bunch of restaurants and shops 10min walk distance... nothing essential missing; but do keep in mind that the kitchen begs to be used and you may end behaving like if you were at home. :) all in all, for an apartment rented from a private host, this is a wonderful experience that deserves repetition.

The building is located next to the city center, so you could reach many attractions by foot. The building was quiet and you could even hear birds singing in the morning if you were in the yard or on the balcony. The kitchen was very well equipped and the overall atmosphere was relaxed.
