I felt retreated in this hotel outside the town, surrounded by lots of plants and a porch reminiscent of a garden: exterior is wonderful! Delicious breakfast, helpful nice staff, a comfortable bed. It’s really outside the town and nothing to do around the hotel, 15 min by taxi to the center, but I liked it.

We just spent two nights at The Old City Rooms in the heart of Chiang Mai, and we couldn't have been happier with this place. The room was very comfortable and clean providing a perfect retreat after exploring the city. The staff was really helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Chiang Mai's Old City, everything is within easy walking distance. A huge bonus was the on site spa. It's incredibly well equipped with two ice baths, one magnesium hot bath, one steam room, one Finnish sauna, and one infrared sauna. It was the ideal way to relax and rejuvenate after a day of sightseeing. We will definitely coming back !

The owner and his wife are very friendly and accommodating. The owner is very sociable. Eventhough he does not speak English well, he goes out of his way to communicate. A simple Thai breakfast is available every morning of instant coffee both caffinated and decaffeinated, fruit, a sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves, toast and other things. Free water is supplied daily. Towels and bedding changed daily.
