Close to downtown and the Berglund Center for the Performing Arts. We visited Roanoke to attend a concert at the BCPA. We also visited the Roanoke Star, the Saturday downtown market and walked all over downtown. We did drive to Natural Bridge which is amazing and highly recommended.

    We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The designer found a nice mixture between comfortable and stylish. We could have easily lived there for a month. There was a common space with books and bikes and cookies etc. We didn't use them since we didn't stay long, but I would have otherwise.

    The location is great — near to grocery stores, coffee shop, and the college campus for walking. The apartment was nicely furnished with comfy couch and bed. Having a kitchenette is also useful. Taken together I think these amenities align with the price.

    I really like firm beds and I really liked what they have. It’s convenient that it’s like a mini apartment with supplies for cooking and cleaning. The tv is prepped for Hulu and I believe others too like Paramount. For Hulu, the property has an account that you can use and I believe that you’ll just have to sign in for the others. I liked the convenience of El Jefe being downstairs :) it’s also convenient that it has a washer and dryer.

    It's a really great building and the apartments have everything you need, including great coffee from a local roaster. Several good restaurants and a local brewery are steps away.
