Featuring an a la carte restaurant, Elafonisi Resort by Kalomirakis Family is set amidst a garden with olive trees. It offers air-conditioned accommodation, some self-catering, and free Wi-Fi in public areas. The popular Elafonisi Beach is 650 metres away. The apartment was perfect – they even gave us a free upgrade. While it didn’t have a sea view, it overlooked the mountains and olive groves, which was beautiful. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. It’s highly recommended to stay at least one night so you can enjoy the beach early in the morning, before the crowds arrive.

Aphrodite beach hotel has a special position hidden bay, so in case of windy weather it is quiet. This is ideal when the wind is too strong or with small childeren. The wawes are smal and no wind. But, if you like wavy sea, you can go 300 meter further on the beach to Kissamos center direction, you get to a beach with bigger wawes. aphrodite has an interesting position of the swimming pool. No strong sun, no strong wind. Ideal for evenings when tired by see. Also great for childeren. Theere is a restaurant in front of hotel which is quiet, but zou see some touch with the atmosphere if zou have a see view room. The Kisamos area is interesting part of Crete. The port to Balos is abou 3km from Aphrodite. Falassarna is10 minutes by car. Elafonisi about 1 hour by car distance. The hotel personnels were very pleasent and kind. The hotel was perfectly clean.
